Aloha! My name is Kerstan — I was born and raised here in Hawaiʻi, and my wife and I live on the west side of Oʻahu with our kids. I’ve worked in everything from the military to shipyard life, but these days I focus on real estate, vacation rentals, and running a few local businesses. I love anything that gets me outdoors — fishing, surfing, and coaching basketball — and I’m passionate about making sure visitors experience the real Hawaiʻi in a way that respects the land and the people. Hosting has been a rewarding way to share our home, culture, and island lifestyle with travelers from all over the world. We take pride in offering a space that’s clean, comfortable, and filled with aloha.

We chose to invest in the west side of Oʻahu — specifically Mākaha — because it’s one of the last places on the island that still feels truly local and untouched. It’s raw, beautiful, and full of mana. You’ve got world-class beaches, stunning mountain ranges, and a tight-knit community that’s unlike anywhere else. The sunsets here are unmatched, the waves are consistent, and there’s a peaceful vibe you won’t find in the city. It’s not the touristy side of the island, and that’s exactly why we love it — it gives guests the chance to slow down, unplug, and experience Hawaiʻi the way it used to be.
