A quiet home with new memory foam King & Queen/Twins, a decently central location in a quiet, wooded cul-de-sac that allows access to Boston, Quincy, Plymouth & Cape Cod easily. On other hosting platforms, we maintain: Superhost Status of 11 years, a Gold Badge Guest Favorite (top 10% of homes) and a 4.93 rating since opening in January 2025.
The details:
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish in-law apartment. Newly renovated bathroom, kitchen, flooring, bedroom and coffee bar at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac is ready for your visit to the beautiful coastal town of Norwell. Our lovely New England town is loaded with local walking trails (some right out your driveway!) and also boasts quick access to south shore beaches. The south shore has French pastries, fantastic local seafood and several restaurants and bars. Norwell has easy access to the train to Boston or a 15-minute drive to the commuter boat, which is the best way to go! We are about halfway between Boston and Cape Cod.
If you are going to Boston, the commuter rail stop in Greenbush is just over a mile away or my
favorite way to travel is the commuter ferry in Hingham Harbor that is a 15-minute drive. It runs all year and is VERY reliable.
Our space:
The in-law space is attached to the house but has its own exterior entrance, driveway and yard. There are only peaceful woods and our neighbors surrounding us, although you won’t see the neighbors in the summer. The unit is fully self-contained and has its own dedicated driveway.
Other things to note:
This unit has a private exterior entrance. The space is self-contained and very separate from the rest of the house. It is a large open-floor plan space with brand new memory foams mattresses at the end of 2024. We call this space immaculate as we consider it allergy friendly – the unit has been and always will be pet free. The secondary sleeping area is down a flight of stairs.
Guest access:
There is a keypad for your ease of use and check-in. The gravel driveway is for you and your guests use. The backyard and front yard is off limits.
Other details:
The rear backyard is for the main tenants only, therefore the rear doors are emergency access only.
We have dogs - they are very well behaved but you might hear an occasional bark at a walker, them playing or rough housing. If you have any issues with noise, please do not hesitate to reach out.
During the summer, we provide a window ac unit in the King Bedroom. The rest of the unit remains un-conditioned but the bedroom door can remain open to cool the space come extremely hot days.
Our space is not set up to accommodate children. If you are considering bringing your little ones, please let us know ages. The secondary sleeping area is downstairs and is better suited for adult guests than children.
We do not allow guests to sleep overnight on the couch. We have a cot available we can set up with advanced notice- we keep the listing to 4 guests to prevent the couch from being a necessity.
