The villa was perfect for a holiday for the whole family, ranging ages of 8 to 75. The facilities were excellent, and the location was good for all the ages in the party, beach for younger members of our party and bars and restaurants for the older members of our party. Enough loungers and sitting areas for everyone. Good view from the outside eating area. The air-conditioning helped in the bedrooms. The pool was a great success. Areke was very helpful and was always checking if everything was OK.Eric was also very efficient and made booking this holiday very easy.

This is a beautiful, spacious house close to everything!!! There is a beach view from all the outside terraces. We hired a chef for a couple of our meals that was recommended by the host. He was outstanding!!! The pool was wonderful and refreshing after a day at the beach. This place is a treasure!!!

We were 4 ladies visiting Portugal from Canada, celebrating my birthday. 3 of the 4 were here for the very first time & it did not disappoint! We didn’t want to have to rent a car and wanted a location within walking distance. The beach was 5 minutes across the road & you could walk for kilometres on it. Several of the days, we rented lawn chairs & umbrellas for 19 euros for 2. Lot’s of restaurants along the beach. We were right in town, but on the quieter end, within 10 minutes we were in the hub of the action of so many patio restaurants & shops. 10 min walk to the supermarket to get a few things for breakfast. We ate out every lunch and dinner. 10 min walk to marina. Ubers were reasonable & abundant. One night we had the fabulous Chef Filipe in who made us an amazing multi course meal. He brought everything, made it either in the kitchen or on the outdoor grill, served us wine he had chosen for us and cleaned everything up. Unfortunately the dishwasher had broken down before we arrived, so all dishes had to be done by hand. Highlights1. Location 1000%2. Large space3. Well equipped kitchen4. Nice to have a pool5. Nice bathrooms & good working plumbing6. Chef recommendation7. Areke was pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. Arranged airport transportation from and to. She had Portuguese tarts and 3 bottles of wine left for us on arrival. Made some great recommendations that helped us. She got back to us in a timely manner with answers to our questions.

The property is a large, very well equipped house in an excellent position at the quiet end of Praia da Rocha beach. Communal areas including the pool are very spacious - there were 10 of us in the family group and we never felt crowded. Whilst there were 6 showers ( including one by the pool) and 5 toilets ( again including one by the pool) , only 2 of the bedrooms were fully ensuite ie toilet and shower . 2 other bedrooms had a shower but no toilet. Being a family group of different age ranges, this didn't bother us but it might bother for example, 4 or 5 adult couples sharing the house. Given the prices quoted for other large properties in the Algarve with pool, this property is fairly priced and probably reflects the limitations i mention above. Despite being just a 100 meters from the beach and 50 metres from the nearest restaurant, it is quiet . If you want a lively time, the Praia strip is only 5 minutes walk away. We didn't need to hire cars, taxis were very reasonable and there is a bus stop just 50 meters away. Communication with Areke, the host , was excellent and she arranged very reasonably priced and efficient transfers for us from and to the airport. Overall, the property suited our needs.

We are starting again to rent the house and as we are starting from scratch, in order for guests to see the ad and to rent it we are trying very hard to build the rating. We only have few guests now so far and each 10/10 rating is greatly appreciated. 😃 Areke told me that you were a delightful family and she hopes that you had the best time possible.
