Escape to this adorable house in picturesque Stowe! Convenient location right on Mountain Road across from Weeks Hill Rd & the Mayo Farm Events field where the Balloon Festival & British Invasion is held as well as other events in town. The house is a 5-minute drive to Stowe Mountain Resort and walking distance to hiking trails, Restaurants, Breweries & shopping in historic Stowe Village. The Stowe Recreational Path which is a 1 minute walk from the house. Cady Hill Mountain Biking trails are just a stones throw away. Relax in front of the gas stove in the living room after a long day on the slopes or relax on the deck after a day of Mountain Biking or hiking. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. The house Sleeps 8, the upstairs primary bedroom has a king bed, the upstairs guest bedroom has a queen bed and the downstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds. The loft space has two additional twin beds. This property is perfect for families or groups of friends and is perfectly positioned for those looking to experience the best of Stowe's outdoor adventures. Whether it's a day on the slopes or a leisurely bike ride, the possibilities are endless. Coupled with the vibrant local scene just around the corner, you'll never run out of things to do. In the ski season the Mountain Road Shuttle stops next to the house for you to use and avoid the parking charge. For Mountain bikers there is a garage for storage of your bikes as well as cars.

The home was perfectly appointed, spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The four of us had a fantastic ski weekend, but this property would be just as enjoyable in any season given its ideal location. If you prioritize being in the heart of Stowe and close to the town’s restaurants and activity, this place is hard to beat. We will absolutely book again!

We had an amazing time. The house is comfortable, fully equipped, cozy, and charming. The location is great, close to the village and a quick drive to the mountain. It was a perfect week in Stowe, and we are thankful to the hosts for sharing their place with us.

House is functional and relatively clean. Definitely tight for two families. Gas fireplace produces a significant sulfur smell. Management is not lenient with special requests. Would stay elsewhere next time.

This guest requested to have more than 8 guests sleep at the house, a week before his stay, he saw that the beds sleep 10. The guest was not happy that we had to say no to his request because of Vermont Fire and Safety code not allowing more than 8 persons sleeping in a house unless you have a sprinkler system. The guest also did not mention that there was a smell from the gas fireplace, this is checked out after/prior to each stay and no smell has been detected. This guest was unhappy that we would not bend the rules to accommodate his request .

Such a wonderful space in a great central location in Stowe. Well stocked with cooking supplies. Clean and comfortable. Only thing to point out is the stairs are a little steep and narrow. Might not be the best if you are physically limited.

This place is so charming! Bigger and even cuter than pictured. Great location to Stowe village, restaurants and the recreation path. We enjoyed Field Guide for drinks and live music. Communication was great, check in & out was easy. The place is super cozy with comfortable beds. It is well stocked with more than just the essentials, but it is worth noting that you should pick up ground coffee and ice if those items are important for your stay. And, ear plugs or a sound machine. The house is on a busy road. It may have just been the timing of our trip (it was expected to be the busiest week/end of the year), but traffic and sirens could be heard throughout the night. Highly recommend!!

While the house was beautiful and conveniently walking distance to downtown Stowe, the owner of this VRBO put my friends and I in danger and for that I will never rebook with her or her properties again. Due to Snowstorm Fern, our return flights home were pre cancelled before we even left. We asked to reschedule, to be credited to rebook for the following weekend, a partial refund, ANYTHING to not put us in harms way of a dangerous nationwide weather issue. Sure enough, we've been stranded in Vermont an extra 3 days all because she refused to work with us. Not to mention we also had to dig ourselves out of the house several times, as well as the plow company she insisted came everyday came once so we tripped and slipped every time we came home. We were planning a yearly trip to return using her rental property and now she has lost out on our guaranteed money. Greed and human decency don't go together and she'll one day find that out I hope.

We are shocked by this review. We were never contacted by the guest and asked for a refund, credit or anything prior to the storm. The last time there was communication with the guest was the day before arrival she asked if there was anyone that shovels around the cabin. The below was our response It doesn’t look as if the snowstorm is coming our way, and yes we have a plow company that plows the driveway and there is a snow shovel to shovel the walk. The above was the last communication we have from the guest and as you can read we never mentioned that the plow company came every day. We did not hear from the guests during the stay and had no idea that there flights had been cancelled. As you can see we have multiple 10/10 reviews
