We had a great stay at this property for a long Labor Day weekend. The property had everything we needed, is situated on a private lot, and centrally located to Kilmarnock/White stone/Irvington. The bedroom lay out is also nice for those traveling with younger kids. Would recommend

This was our third visit. Family vacation with children and grandchildren. Beautiful house and property. Lots of nice amenities. Hosts were very responsiive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Exceeds Expectations

Pictures are good, but to see the property in person is exceptional. Lucky Dog River House is a delight to explore and relax for the entire family. The home is well-appointed, thoughtfully stocked and has everything you need.

Relaxing, quiet & beautiful property

This property is out of this world. The perfect place to go for a relaxing week by the pool with any kitchen device you could possibly need! My wife, dog and I enjoyed the screened porch for dinners and drinks on the couches. Bathtub in the primary bedroom is the best i’ve ever used! Close to everything, nothing is more than 10 minutes away. You won’t regret it!

Vacation at Lucky Dog

We had a nice stay at Lucky Dog! The house is lovely with wonderful space for entertaining. We brought our pup and he loved it as well, the fenced in yard makes it easy to bring your pups along. We enjoyed the pool and kayaks daily!We lost internet for a day which made it hard to communicate as our cell service wasn’t great at the house but that wasn’t a huge deal as we were on vacation and not needing TV/internet much.Our only complaint was we lost water for most of one day of our trip, we had a hard time contacting the property manager, we tried calling and messaging on the app but it took hours for a response, he said a fuss tripped and was able to reset remotely which did work but not in a timely manner in our opinion.Overall a nice trip!

It’s wonderful to hear the home’s inviting setup for entertaining enhanced your vacation! Regarding the water interruption, Lucky Dog's water sensor’s leak detector was triggered by high water usage from washing vehicles and boats, activating a safety shutoff. A heads-up about such activities would have been helpful to prevent the issue. We’re adding guidance to the house manual to ensure a smoother experience for future guests. Thank you for your patience as we resolved it remotely. As for the Wi-Fi, the interruption was due to a regional internet outage, which can occasionally occur in our tranquil rural setting. As noted in our listing, the serene countryside location is part of our charm and beauty, offering a peaceful escape. We’re delighted you had a memorable trip and would love to welcome you back to Lucky Dog for another relaxing getaway filled with poolside moments and outdoor adventures!
