Hello Patricia. I'm sorry that the weather was miserable and it rained for your entire 2 day stay at the villa. It still is no excuse for an untrue review! The jacuzzi is in the pool so is the same temperature as the pool, we don't advertise a heated pool or jacuzzi . The mats in the bathroom are colour matched, perhaps new spectacles needed? The laundry room was opened and the washer and dryer were exclusively yours for your entire stay. Everything on the premise is exclusively yours for your entire stay. It's not our fault that you turned up more than more 4 hours after your expected arrival time without letting the housekeeper know you were going to be late. She couldn't have waited forever. She did come out early the next morning to show you how to operate the jacuzzi, washer, dryer etc. She said you weren't interested in the demonstration but instead complained that the house was not part of a resort and there was no reception desk to check you in on arrival. I note that this is your 1st booking on VRBO and I also note the complaints you made to the housekeeper that the villa was not a hotel. Im sorry but you booked a stand alone villa in a great location close to the beach, it's self catered and there's an electronic lock to let yourself in if you arrive late in the night as you did. A 1 star review reflects a person who did not attempt to fairly review the property but instead unleashed her frustration at messed up travel arrangements, horrible weather and total lack of reading the property description and amenities.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review of my holiday rental. I'm sorry that the property did not meet your expectations. While I regret this, I note that the review is filled with inaccuracies and plain untruths. The hot water works fine and was demonstrated to you on check in by the housekeeper. We do not have a heated pool. it's 35°C outside. We do not have or advertise a hot tub. We do not have potted plants, all are inground. They are all alive. You never reported an alarm being triggered one night to myself the owner ! I'm sorry that it woke you but you did not shut the window properly and then armed the security security system. The housekeeper closed the window for you later the same morning ! The house comes fully stocked with towels and linens! I inspected the premises after reading your comments and found the switches spotless. This villa has been listed on VRBO for the last 2 years and has been reviewed more than 22 times, each one positive. The 2 sets of guests that stayed preceding your arrival both gave the house 5 stars. it's unlikely that the condition deteriorated in the days leading up to your visit.
