Sie können den Preis, die Größe, die Qualität und den Gesamtwert dieser Immobilie nicht übertreffen. Nagelneuer Teppich wurde gerade in alle Schlafzimmer und in Dachboden gelegt. Nur 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zum Strand! Diese Villa liegt günstig in der Nähe des Golfplatzes Robert Trent Jones, des Tenniscenters und des Gemischtwarenladens. In der weitläufigen Küche finden Sie alles, was Sie zum Kochen für die ganze Familie benötigen. Der Essbereich bietet Platz für sechs Personen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein brandneues Schlafsofa und einen 55-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher sowie einen Schieberegler zu Ihrem privaten Deck. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen Flachbildfernseher und ein eigenes Hauptbadezimmer, das komplett mit einer neuen ebenerdigen Dusche aktualisiert wurde. Das erste Gästezimmer verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten und einen Flachbildfernseher mit einem eigenen gefliesten Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche. Seems ok until you start looking deeper

I really struggled for most of the week to figure out how to write this review. On the surface this place seemed great, however once we got into the unit and actually started to use it things quickly fell apart. PROS: Good beach access, clean resort and outstanding beaches. CONS: Knives in kitchen don't cut. Nails and screws on ground on deck which were stepped on. Screws on floor in rooms, baby almost swallowed. Broken hot water, led to entire family sharing one shower which was also malfunctioning. Spicket wasn't fixed for 3 days. Other bathroom had water backing into drain pain, and sewage smell. Never fixed and reported twice. Crumbling walls from water damage at window. Broken plantation shutters, duct taped together. STAINED DISGUSTING carpet in living room. Stained furniture. Ripped bed linens. Faulty AC. Unit is HOT HOT HOT. Fuel in grill was empty. Trash from former guests left in unit as long as stinking water coolers filled with melted ice and sodas. Broken dry wall everywhere. VCR broken. TV and Radio system VERY hard to work and figure out. TERRIBLE INTERNET. Maintenance will just let themselves in without knocking. RUDE permanent resident next door who beats on your door constantly to tell you to move your car away from where hers is parked. Had to call security on her after multiple issues. Pool IV (closest to unit) was shut down by health department for contamination, and we were not notified or warned after swimming in it for 3 days.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying in Palmetto Dunes (after many other stays in HHI) and we absolutely loved it. The location of this condo is great - very easy to get anywhere on the property. We used the Dunes Buggy shuttle service almost every day and were extremely impressed by how efficient they were! The only slight downside to this particular property is that there is a large bedroom upstairs that sleeps several, but bathrooms are downstairs. It worked ok for us as we put the young people upstairs, but it could be a little inconvenient if someone had late night urgent bathroom issues. We loved the property though - kitchen was very well stocked and living space was large and comfy.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in to the rental on Saturday. Within 24 hrs we had seen many roaches in the kitchen and dishwasher. Sunday morning I called the front desk and was told an exterminator would be out to our place later that day. No one showed up Sunday so I followed up Monday morning. When I called back Monday morning I was told an exterminator would be out Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. Still no exterminator showed up. When I called back Tuesday evening, I was quite irate. I was told an exterminator had been to our place today. I let the front desk know that someone was at our place all day and no one had been there. All this time we continued to see roaches in the drawers of the kitchen. We washed everything we used by hand before using it. Finally an exterminator showed up Wednesday evening. The entire situation was handled terribly by Palmetto’s front desk. I have never stayed at a place that had so many roaches. It was supposed to be an enjoyable stay with family and friends but was dampened by the roaches.

Dear Kenneth, We are disappointed to hear that your stay was not up to par. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of exterminators as to when the service can be done. With the holiday, it did slow down the response time of this outside company responding to our call. For that, we are truly sorry. We did review the phone calls with the front desk, and while we can understand your frustration with the situation, our staff was professional in trying to explain the delay in service to your party. Housekeeping was offered to assist in whatever way they could. Again, we can understand your frustration and that is certainly not the feeling we want you to leave our beautiful resort with. There are many upsides to vacationing in the Lowcountry, palmetto bugs are one of the few downsides. We hope that it doesn't stop you from joining us on your next trip. -Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice, but missing any extras or amenities. Two course, thin towels per guest. No towels for the pool or beach. No chairs, umbrellas, toys or other beach items as other rentals provide. Rental bikes from previous renters left in walkway blocking front door at our arrival. Overgrown landscaping blocked the rest of the walkway. Lots of scuff marks on walls in entryway and main living area. Overall, the place is very dark, and needs more lighting. Many outlets don’t work and lightbulbs not replaced. The maintenance on the rental was mediocre. Dead bugs randomly in kitchen and bathroom not cleaned up. No booklet with instructions on operation of TVs in the rental. No plastic wrap, foil or containers with lids in the kitchen for leftover food. Decent amount of space and beds. Very close to a pool. Just needs more attention to detail.

If you review the pre-arrival information that we send to all of our guests and is also available on our website, it will tell you exactly what to expect in each of our rental properties. Foil and plastic wrap are never provided, but plastic containers should be part of the inventory. We will make sure that those are stocked. We provide bath towels and washcloths for every guest, but you will need to bring your own beach towels. We give exclusive discounts to Hilton Head Outfitters for all of your beach, chair, and umbrella needs. Bikes are delivered and picked up for guest convenience, we are sorry that they blocked your entry, but are glad that they were picked up shortly thereafter. We have addressed the cleanliness issues with the cleaning company, thank you for bringing those to our attention. If there is anything to be addressed during your stay, please just let us know. All of these issues could have been addressed while you were here. After the busy rental season that we have had this year, the maintenance issues will be addressed. -Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort

Feb school vacation week getaway

Location and unit were very good for our family. It would have been better if there was another bathroom on the upper level since family members slept there. Bit of a pain to come down to shower. Despite being off-season, it was still a great place to visit. We enjoyed a break from the snow up North. However the cleanliness was not up to par, especially during COVID - old ice in the freezer, dirty blankets and sheets in the closet and several dirty pots in cabinet. In addition, water filter on fridge needed to be replaced and Several light bulbs were out. Fortunately the location was great for tennis and golf and the shopping and restaurants at Shelter Cove.

Beautiful relaxing space...great location.

Property says it sleeps 10....4 chairs on deck need a couple more at least, one love seat one small sofa....five people max....we were six....so one person was on the floor. Loved the unit...very spacious, great view. Need to buy one of these.!
