Overall, our stay was great. A little issue in the beginning but Chris was able to help us resolve it after the first day. The view, pool and beach areas were really nice. We’ll definitely consider staying there again when we go back to Miami.

Great location and excellent amenities

Location had everything you could want beach, pool, drinks and snacks. Just have to make sure room your booking is actually what your looking for some of the pictures in listings can be deceiving. I made sure to reach out to host to verify the beach front room with balcony was indeed the room I was booking. Great communication with host.

Great location!!!!

My family of 4 really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The lobby was beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive. Our room was large and had everything we needed. Our 3 year old slept on the pull out couch and we brought a pack and play for the baby. We LOVED our view, it was absolutely gorgeous. I would have loved to have been out on the balcony more, however, we had some pretty inconsiderate neighbors who were chain smokers so we spent any time not on the beach in our room. Maybe they should enforce a better NO SMOKING policy. The moisture got to my husband a little bit, but that’s Florida. Bring a pair of slippers to walk around the room. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would recommend this place to others.

Location, Location, Location...that's it!

Loved being steps away from the beach however that's where the love ended. The room was extremely outdated and not the one listed on the site. Had the room we ended up with actually been listed I NEVER would have booked it. Total bait and switch! With the obscene daily resort fee of $28.25 on top of what was paid for the "we leave the light on" quality room we could have stayed somewhere a lot nicer. This was my birthday trip and to say the least I was extremely disappointed with the accommodations. Clearly the site lists a remodeled room to draw you in then they check you into a room that hasn't been updated since the invention of electricity. Literally had to charge phone across the room or unplug something next to the bed to do so. Who does that? Wonderful restaurants and shopping within walking distance which was one of the few perks. Still trying to figure out the resort fee. Wi-Fi was in and out the entire stay. Didn't get totally hot water in the shower until our last day. Needless to stay we would never stay here again. First visit to Sunny Isles and next time we'll look into one of the other properties.

Perfect

The whole experience from start to end was well executed. Chris sent the information ahead of time and when I did have a few questions, they were answered quickly through a text. The room was on the 7th floor, Oceanside and we literally slept each night with the door wall wide open, listening to the crashing waves. The hotel itself, like others have said, is definitely tired but upon our departure, 4 men were literally talking about renovations right by me. The staff was super friendly and helpful, food was great at the breakfast place and ate twice at the pier. Thank you for everything and would definitely consider staying here in the future!

Breathtaking View, Room is Pending Work In Progress

WOW! Incredible breathtaking view. Totally exceeds expectations. We booked this room based mainly on the oceanfront picture/view of the room, then on the direct beachfront location, and property amenities. The room provided everything we needed. Sat on the balcony with 180 degree views every morning and evening. Couldn't get enough of it. The view alone is the reason to book. What's better is a high floor (we stayed on the 10th floor, away from the pool music/tiki bar on the side of the hotel.) 2 Convenient restaurants on property (1 for breakfast/lunch, 1 for dinner) and a sushi/bar restaurant within walking distance, on the beach on a pier, with magnificent views both day and evening (we ate there 2 out of our 3 night stays). There's no need to leave the property to dine. Loved the heated pools, stores within walking distance across the street, and Starbucks & snacks offered in the lobby cafe. Super conveniences. To be upfront about the property renovations: the room pictured is not the room we thought we booked. We understood that the property was undergoing renovations in 2021, but hoped that by the time we got there in Feb 2022, the room would have been upgraded by then. Very old decor including the bathroom (the shower didn't drain well). The lobby and elevators have definitely been renovated, and I'd imagine that the rooms and hallways/carpets will be completely redone by the end of the year. The communication from the management company was excellent. Quick Responses. Very informative. This property will be our permanent "go-to" place whenever we come to Florida. It's that good!

Great location

It was a good stay overall. Location is awesome, we didn't need a car - most things were within a short walk; great beach, restaurants near by. Perfect view from the ocean front condo. Condo and the resort itself needs some updating though. You can tell that furniture hasn't been updated in a while. Limited kitchen is a plus, there was a microwave and a mini fridge, although there was no dishes of any kind (too bad) Location by the ocean and community park/pier made all the difference for us, so those minor issues didn't spoil our stay

Location!!!

We loved this location. The building was nicer than I had anticipated and the staff was fabulous. All it took was being kind and they warmed right up. I did witness guests act unkind so give the staff some love! If you know Sunny Isles, this spot is fabulous. It is right by the pier which makes a great sunset walk. It is also very close to a strip mall filled with coffee shops, a grocery store and all kinds of restaurants. It was also great for my three year old as there were three different parks within walking distance. I cannot say enough about this area. Easy driving to all the popular neighborhoods like Wynwood, South Beach, etc. We also discovered Oleta State Park this round which is a hidden gem within 2 miles of the hotel. The room itself is a little lack luster and the furnishings seem old but it really didn’t matter. Bed was comfy, clean sheets and nice bathroom. It was not the quietest hotel but not because of partying or anything, just lots of random sounds. Nothing major. I do specifically recommend this room because the balcony and ocean view are amazing. Also the host was very communicative. We will absolutely come back!

Great Location

We wanted a resort and we got it! It was so great having a pool, beach, restaurant, and bar on site without having to leave. The only downfall was being on a lower floor of the room. I expected to be high up based on the photos and we were only 1 level up from the ground level. It was still a beautiful view I just wish it would’ve been explained better. The room was mediocre but we were perfectly fine with it since we went on vacation and didn’t plan to stay in the room all day. The resort prices for food/drinks is pricey so make sure you read up on that too. But overall we had a great time!

5-star view but 2.5 star room

An incredible view for sure--breathtaking--able to watch the sunrise from our balcony. All the staff were extremely friendly and good to work with. Restaurant in the hotel was really tasty (although a little pricey). Location was good--close to the pier, and a short walk over the canal bridge across the street and there are more shops and restaurants than on the main road. Problems in the room included carpeting badly in need of replacement with tile--there was moisture in the room if we didn't keep the air conditioning on high and I can only imagine the amount of mold that must be under the carpeting; couch also needs to be replaced; sign by the bar sink said they don't wash the glasses in the room so they are not sanitized (yuck--we had to sanitize in the microwave before using--this could be easily fixed by removing the glasses and putting in disposable cups); the outside of the building needs repair and painting as well, some of the balconies are falling off the building. Just depends what you're looking for--we wanted that view, so we put up with the rest.

The view was great and enjoyed maid service every day.

The property layout is great and amenities on the beach (towels, chairs, umbrellas) made it great. The pool area was nice but the pool itself was so hot we went in once and never got in again. We wound up spending everyday at ocean because of this.

Great stay!

My Husband and I had a great stay at this resort! Our ocean front bedroom had an absolutely gorgeous view. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our bedroom was well cleaned. We had requested our balcony floor to be cleaned halfway through our stay due to bird droppings. It was done very thoroughly within a few hours. It was nice being able to use the beach lounge chairs and beach towels included with the resort fee. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Ocean View from balcony!

As we entered our room, we were blown away from the view. The room was not brand new but it was not bad at all. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the view was gorgeous, and the location is excellent. The resort had a nice pool, nice tiki bar and restaurant, and free access to the pier. I would stay here again.

Overall a nice stay

After I booked the rental, I went back online to read the reviews and I was a little worried. There were some bad ones and some good ones. So we thought we'd check it our for ourselves. Overall, I think it's a nice place. It's a great deal for a beach location. The room was fine. It was nice and clean. We enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The lobby has a lovely smell and is nicely designed. We arrived early at 10am and we changed and went to the beach and jumped in the pool while we waited for our room. We also had drinks at the restaurant/bar on the pier. Staff was helpful. The resort is located on a strip that is across the street from restaurants, pharmacies, convenience stores, etc. This was nice because we did not rent a car. The airport was 20 minutes away. The hallways may need new rugs and some fresh paint, but how much time do you spend in the hallway?

Very Very Disappointed

I was very disappointed with my room and the hallways of the resort. My room needed to be painted, the furniture needs to be updated, and the bathroom had a not so fresh clean smell, it smelled like it was clean with just water. The fire sprinkler and the ac vent had rust on it. The ceiling looked like the paint was going to peel off at any given moment. I guess you get what you pay for. I am still very, very disappointed.

Oceanview is the way to go!

Loved the oceanview! We were glad that everything was nearby, great location. The room needs some upgrade but otherwise we had a great stay! Will definitely recommend the oceanview, it is worth the $ difference!

Great stay! No hassle, BEAUTIFUL VIEW!

Me and my fiancé loved our stay here. The front desk staff was great, valet staff was speedy and great as well. It was a very no hassle stay as far as customer service went. The room was good! We originally booked a basic ocean front room but when I arrived I was upgraded to an Executive Ocean Front suite for free, that included a kitchen, two balconies and jacuzzi tub. The view was AMAZING! Exactly like the pictures. The beach wasn’t too crowded. The chair and umbrella rentals for guest were cheap ($15). The location was great and we took Collins straight to South Beach for night life. I would recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay and had a terrific time.

Everything was as advertised and the staff was friendly and courteous. We had a direct ocean/beach million dollar view of sunrises every morning. Thanks again!

Great beach

Stayed 4 nights. Had ocean view, loved it. The room could use some upgrades but we didn't spend much time there. The facilities and beach are great. Enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant.

Nice Resort. Very Clean.

We stayed in this oceanfront suite and we absolutely loved it! The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We could hear the waves from the balcony. It was so relaxing. The room itself was very clean and up to date. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and willing to help whenever they could.
