Family Friendly Lake Home Sleeps 14, Sandy Beach, Lake Toys, Fire Pit, Sunrises!

Welcome to your dream lake vacation home, affectionately referred to by previous guests as Sunrise Pines. This lakeside home is now under new ownership, and we are so excited to share our lovely cottage with you! With 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and additional living spaces including a loft area and basement with queen bed and 2 twin beds (close the basement door for privacy), this beautiful retreat offers a serene escape for the whole family. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place.

At first glance you will notice the private and peaceful atmosphere of the cottage. Take a short walk down to the beach and be amazed at the breathtaking views. Have fun on this no-wake lake in one of the canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, paddle boats, or row boats that are provided for your use (note - although on a no-wake lake, there is a public boat landing where you could bring your own boat, and dock on our pier). Enjoy playing in the sand, swimming (we have recently installed a muckmat for a more pleasurable swimming experience), catching some sun on the swim raft, and walking out on the dock. Venture back up towards the house and enjoy the fire pit, sunrises on the deck, and relaxing on the upper or lower deck with family and friends.

Inside the cottage, enter into an open concept main level with tall vaulted windows, perfect for views of the lake and seeing the stars at night. Enjoy cooking in the kitchen with most cooking and baking supplies provided for your use, as well as outdoor cooking on our new Blackstone grill. There is even an electric fondue pot provided for a fun family event.

Head downstairs to a walk-out lower level where you can enjoy a game of foosball, bumper pool, large or lifesize Connect Four, board games, relax in front of the electric fireplace or watch your favorite shows on TV. You will also find a bathroom on each level of the house. Additionally, each bedroom has its own “theme”. Upstairs is the Christmas Room, the Owl Room, the Bear theme in the loft, and pine cone bathroom. The main level has the Fox Room, Eagle Room, and black & white themed bathroom. Downstairs is a rustic woods type feel, and a yellow & gray bathroom.

Please note this property features visible security cameras in designated outdoor areas for guest and property protection. No smoking allowed indoors.

A note about booking - during the busy summer months, we typically book Friday to Friday. However, there are a few weeks where this is not the case so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about dates when booking.

Beautiful sparkling clean house and nice lake. Plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen, coffee bar, and variety of water toys. Ample seating on the deck off the dining room and lower-level patio. The kids and grandkids had fun on the lake with the paddle boat and canoe. Hosts responded quickly to questions before and during our stay.

Sunrise Pines and Huron Lake made for an excellent vacation spot. The home was very comfortable for our extended family group. The kitchen was well supplied and well organized. The lake was beautifully clear…wonderful for kayaking and paddleboarding.

The home was very clean and well stocked both inside and out. The owners were easy to get a hold of and answered all of our questions. There were 3 families and we had 7 kids with us ranging from 9-15 years old. There was a place for everyone. The kayaks and paddle boards were a hit. It's a very quiet lake with no wake. We did not have a boat with us and were just fine without it. Our kids did want to leave. It was great cousin time.

Beautiful home!

The house was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed. The communication leading up to the booking, as well as communication upon check in with a slight issue with the door lock, was very timely and kind! Our only issue was we thought the beach area would be a bit larger and sandier based off of the photos, but overall loved our stay. Location and the lake were perfect, and it was tucked back in a quiet area off the main road. Close to wautoma for groceries and ice cream runs too :)

Everything was clean and orderly. The rental space was amazing, and it was great having kayaks and canoes available to use on the lake! The only thing is that there is a pretty intense cleaning list for checkout. Most of it was reasonable asks, but some things such as cleaning the oven, microwave, stripping bedding and washing towels, I lfound to be a little too much. You will also get charged a 200 cleaning fee.

Wonderful Fall Vacation

Our extended family had plenty of space to enjoy the inside and outside! The amenities were extensive and met all of our needs - various “no-wake” boats, plenty of firewood, a large table for meals and games, and well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Holding onto Summer

We had a wonderful weekend away. There was so much to do and we took advantage of it all. We were blessed with wonderful weather, so we spend the entire weekend outside. Our highlights included deck sitting, using all of the water toys, floating on the lake (we brought inter tubes, but they did have some in the shed), and visiting around the dinner table. We brought all of our fishing gear, and we were sure glad we did! Large mouth bass and northern pike were the most popular catches. We had zero problems and would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful Home

Our stay was wonderful! Plenty of room for all! Lake access was great but weeds were bad around the dock at the time we were there. Fire pit was used every evening and plenty of firewood. Kitchen was well stocked for making meals. Bedding was clean and comfortable and rooms were decorated very nicely and gave it such a up north feel.

Bonding Time, Year Two!

This is our second year staying at this property, and I know we'll be back again. The house works really well for our group (6 adults and 6 kids). The house is very clean and comfortable. Mostly Wonderful 😊

Our group of 14 people, ages 6-71, had so much fun! The lake is great. The kayaks, canoe, paddle boards, paddle boat and raft made playing in the lake quite enjoyable! The hosts are accommodating and responsive. The house is well stocked (except the water tastes terrible! Bring your own) and expectations are clear. Our one complaint is that the sewage smell outside is quite overwhelming!

Great family stay

Clean, comfortable, secluded, well appointed lake house for our 3 generation group. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, including plastic ware for the under 6 crowd. Various lake toys; paddle boat, kayak, canoe, and paddle board, made getting out to the swim raft easy. The kids had fun jumping into the lake from there. The lower lake level made the shoreline less inviting for wading into the lake because of the weeds. The beds are the memory foam kind to which we quickly adapted. Pillows were very firm, so I’d suggest bringing your own if you like something softer. The deck gets the full morning sun so is quite bright and can be warm but then is in shade in the afternoon which made for a very pleasant place to sit. A big plus was a table that comfortably sat the 9 of us. The Bonds take pride in their property and their care shows. We felt secure knowing that the decks and the back door were monitored by Ring video cameras. Communication was good before and during our stay. Thanks for a great week at the lake.

Family Time Treasure

Well-appointed house allows family to spread out and have some privacy on 3 floors. Kitchen well stocked. Large dining table so everyone is together [we had 10] Kayaks, paddle boat and canoe to enjoy the lake [with plenty of life preservers]. Relaxing getaway

Siblings and their spouses (and a coupe of kids) rented this Sunrise Pines for the weekend. There was plenty of room at the dining table for everyone to eat together. We all enjoyed the water toys and the weather was ideal for spending time on the water. We had a sportsman in the group and he caught some fish. The toiletries in the main floor bathroom were appreciated. The kitchen was equipped adequately (the pizza cutter is broken). The bedrooms were comfortable. However, the pillows were way too firm. The living room provided adequate seating for tv viewing. You might want to recheck the blinds as several of them were broken. It was difficult to open and close them, thus allowing the bright sunshine to shine in in the morning making the AC work harder. The decks provided space to spend time outdoors when not on the lake. The furniture was comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Best vacation spot!

This property has beautiful views and tons of things to do. From kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming & paddle boating in crystal clear water to sitting around the fire, playing pool, cards or foosball. The house is well stocked with kitchen tools, pots, pans, firewood, propane, bug spray, etc. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!!

My family celebrated my Dad's 79th birthday for 4 wonderful days! The hosts were always speedy with their responses and super helpful! We had the best time enjoying the property (kayaking and water activities, fishing, yard games, having fires and enjoying all of the amenities of the home! Did I mention the view of the lake? The house was sparkling clean and so well equipped we didn’t need half the things we packed. We had a couple rainy days, bur no one said they were bored while having all the indoor activities that were available. Everyone had a comfy bed to sleep in although a couple single beds rathar than a queen for the teenagers would've been nice since they don't like to share a bed, but they adjusted. The only con I can say about the place is the photos made it appear more spacious but that's just my perception. The decore was fun and pristine. This will be one of our first considerations when booking a lake house for our family in the future. Thank you for sharing your property.

Bonding Time

We loved at our stay at Diane's lake house! The house was perfect for our family which included 6 kids and 6 adults. The games in the basement were a hit with the kids and we all enjoyed the water toys. There were plenty of life jackets for our group. It was so fun to see the kids using the kayaks and we all tried the SUP. The firepit was another highlight - plenty of room for everyone to sit around a nice big fire. The house itself was very clean and well-equipped. I especially appreciated some of the minor touches that some rentals lack, like plenty of hooks in the bathroom, including hooks in the shower area for swimsuits. This weekend was exactly what our family needed - to have fun, to be together, to bond. Thank you!!!!

For many years, we have rented different cottages up north near the Waupaca area. We always enjoyed the chance to get away with our two children and extended family to reconnect, relax, and build new memories together. We love being outside near the water and enjoying what nature has to offer. We decided it would be nice to find our own place that we could enjoy and also rent out to others. We are excited to share our lake home with you and hope to provide your family with a quiet, relaxing place to slow down, reconnect, and build your own memories!

Although we are new to hosting, we feel that our various experiences of renting and working with different hosts and situations will help us provide you with the amenities and services that we desired when renting. Additionally, our daughter, Brittany will be helping us manage the VRBO site and communicating with guests. Working together, we will ensure a great stay for you and your family. We are very excited to share our lake home with you!

This property was previously owned and rented out by a couple with lots of experience managing rental homes with five star status. This was another huge factor in our choice of this property. We were fortunate that they were willing to share many helpful tips and valuable information to help us provide you with a great vacation home getaway, as we begin our new adventure. We also chose this property because of its close proximity to other towns with great state parks, ski hills, biking trails and other fun things to do. Additionally, it is a short drive to Waupaca, Stevens Point, Wautoma, and other beautiful areas in Wisconsin to explore.

If you are looking for a beautiful lake home in a nice quiet area with a great lake for swimming, fishing, and privacy where you can spend quality time with family and friends, this place is for you! We provide lots of the basic amenities, so you can pack light and have many of the things you need already here when you arrive. We even provide an electric fondue pot for making a fun meal together! We have a well stocked kitchen, plenty of non-motorized boats and other water equipment. We also have an array of fun indoor activities: a foosball table, bumper pool/card table, board games, cards, and giant edition Connect 4 game - something for everyone!
