Secluded Retreat 2.5 Acres of Peace

This is our home-away-from-home and we think it could be yours as well. Stay for two nights, two weeks, or however long your body and soul and family needs. If it's a comfortable and peaceful place you long for from which to experience the Santa Fe area, from Taos to Bandelier, farmer's markets to fine dining, The Ghost Ranch to the Rio Grande Gorge, or simply a five minute drive to Cafe Fina for a slice of pie or pastry and coffee with the locals, this is your place!

Our home sits on 2.5 acres, in a very pedestrian and dog-friendly neighborhood. The views of surrounding mountains and ever-mystic skies are spectacular, and sunsets will devour the storage on your cell phones.There is a full-sized grocery store within minutes of the home, as well as a brew pub, hardware store, and bicycle trail.

The home is single level with no steps, therefore accessible to all. You can sleep up to six adults. Bedroom one is the primary bedroom and features a king-sized bed (with a very high-end Tempur-Pedic mattress) and adjacent full bath with walk-in shower, jacuzzi tub, two sinks, walk-in closet, and access to the back patio through the glass sliding door. Bedrooms two and three are on the opposite side of the home, separated by a full bathroom (shower/tub combo). Bedroom no. 2 has a queen-sized bed and closet. Bedroom no. 3 serves as an office with a large multi-functional desk, but is easily converted into that third bedroom when the futon is extended into a full-sized bed.

The kitchen is fully stocked so you can cook at home. Perhaps test your skills with a local recipe, prepare a picnic, chef up a batch of trail mix for the next day's hike, or create a brunch of goodness from the treasures found at the Saturday farmer's market. You'll find all the plates, glasses, mugs, utensils and cookware you need here, and a dining table with spacious seating for six. In addition, there is a counter bar area for a less formal bite to eat, or a place to simply hang out while the mixologist among you shakes and stirs, or the chef you love dices and cures.

Other amenities to make you feel at home include: high speed WiFi, smart TV, washer and dryer, dishwasher, gas and charcoal BBQ options on the back patio, propane fire pit on the back patio, men's golf clubs in the garage (sorry ladies, my wife doesn't golf).

Unfortunately, the kiva fireplace in the home is inoperable at this time. Please do not attempt to use it.
