Vielen Dank für das Interesse an unserem Haus. Wir bieten zwei Schlafzimmer mit Queen-Size-Bett, zweites mit Etagenbett, Doppelbett und Einzelbett. Dieses Ferienhaus verfügt über ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch Königin ausziehbares, voll ausgestattete Küche. Geschlossene Veranda mit Blick auf den Teich kann als Sitzbereich oder als zusätzlicher Schlafbereich mit Tagesbett und Rollbett genutzt werden. Dies ist der perfekte Ort, um Ihren Morgenkaffee zu trinken oder die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge zu beobachten. Neue Fliesendusche. Für diejenigen, die es lieben, auf dem Wasser zu sein, gibt es 2 Kajaks und ein 3-Personen-Kanu. 60 ft Dock zum Angeln und Feuerstelle in der Nähe von Wasser zum Entspannen. Zugang zum Ontariosee und Bootsanleger über den Teich. Wir können nur sagen, dass es unser "kleines Stück Himmel" ist.

Planning my return next year

This is my second stay here with my two grandsons and husband. Our grandsons love to fish, and the Salmon River is just close enough. The backyard is wonderful and the fishing on the dock is great. I am looking forward to coming back next year. This is by far the best place I have stayed in the area.

Truly a "little piece of heaven"

The cottage was clean & comfortable.... with lots of little extras. The view of the pond is beautiful. We enjoyed bonfires near the water at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will come again.

Great house in a beautiful location!

The house was great and right on the lake. They had so much stuff to use there on property! The kids and us had a great time and it was perfectly relaxing! We would definitely stay again!

A great place to stay away from the crowded rentals near Sandy Pond. Quiet and beautiful. Well stocked. Very quaint and pretty. Property manager very accomodating. I'm hoping to return in 2025!!

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at this beautiful cottage. Super clean and cozy with great amenities. Perfect location on Sandy Pond with amazing sunset views. Perfect Getaway

We highly recommend Karen's "Little Piece of Heaven". The cottage is very well kept with the perfect amount of space. Anything you need for the kitchen is there. We spent most of our time on the lawn and the boat dock. Caught lots of fish and enjoyed the canoe and kayak. We will definitely return!

Awesome stay

Our stay in this home was absolutely wonderful! The house was very clean, right on the "pond" and was well equipped with games, books, toys, outside boats, etc. The kitchen had lots of pots, crock pot, silverware and even bug spray:) The view was beautiful and the sunsets amazing. Karen was very easy to work with and answered all our questions before we got there so there were no problems. We are coming back for sure...

Breath Taking Sunsets

House was very clean and comfortable. Didnt spent much time relaxing, came up for The Salmon Run. The House has everything you need except for food. They think of everything down to lighters for the firepit and new batteries for the remotes. Karen was wonderful to work with. Very attentive to everything. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful lake cottage

This cozy cottage was immaculately clean and comfy. Bedrooms are small, but the living room is large and accommodating. Well stocked with games, videos, and books, especially for children. We enjoyed kayaking across Sandy Pond to the outlet to Lake Ontario (be sure to note landmarks as you paddle out to find your way back!) and the shed contained all sizes of life jackets and flotations. Easy day trip to the Thousand Islands or beyond (we went to Kingston ON). Highly recommend.

Awesome property on Sandy Pond

This was a great little house! Place was super clean at check in, had all the things we needed for a great stay. Everything in working order....had no issues with anything. Quiet and friendly neighbors too! Outdoors was just as nice as indoors. what a great place to sit and watch sunsets in the evening. Lots of rabbits, water birds (cranes, geese, cormorants, etc.) and even hawks and an eagle flying overhead on Saturday. Didn't need the hosts for any reason but they let me know I could contact them if needed. Thanks...great place!!

Perfect in every way

Our family of two adults and four kids absolutely loved our stay in this little piece of heaven! Everything was just as it had been described in the listing. The check-in process could not have been easier and the house was spotless and so comfortable to stay in. This house is in an absolutely perfect location for viewing sunsets over the water, just as the host had described in the listing. We enjoyed our sunsets immensely, and I also enjoyed stealing outside in the early morning stillness to watch the loons and blue heron fish as the sunrise cast beautiful colors on the water and sky. Our kids particularly loved reading others' experiences in the guestbook and sharing their own favorite moments. They were so sad when it was time for us to leave, and we hope to be able to return sometime in the future!

Beautiful house but overbearing owners

I have a mixed review of Karen and Rick's cottage. The cottage itself was beautiful and well-stocked. The sunsets each night were amazing, and while the space was small, there was plenty of room for 4 adults (parents + daughter and son-in-law). However, I would hesitate to recommend this place to anyone else based the somewhat intrusive nature of the owners. There needs to be a certain level of trust and privacy from someone who is renting their home and we didn't feel like that trust and privacy was met as they "stopped by" a few times and were clear that they only live a few houses down. Beautiful spot, but choose another place on the lake if you want a relaxing family retreat!
