Great place. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. There's a carport behind the apartment for parking. I slept on the sofa sleeper and it was comfortable. We will rent this place again.

our daughter lives here and we spent a couple of days with her. After initial challenges with check in and ants in a unit, we were moved to another unit and it worked fine.

Very clean, good location

We were really happy with our stay! The house was very clean, nicely kept and cute! They had everything we needed. It was a great location! We love Prospect coffee so it was an added bonus to be right next door! We’ll definitely be back!

Great location!

Overall a great stay for the weekend! Only issue was the dishes were not clean and we had to wash all the dishes before use, some still had food on them. Besides the dishes the rest of the house was clean and as advertised. The location is really what was great. We were able to walk to downtown in a few minutes and barely used our car. Thanks for everything!

Nice little apartment near downtown Ventura

The property was clean and decorated nicely. The check in process added extra time and stress to have to meet someone at the property at a specific time to check ID. We had a difficult time the first night due to a strong gas odor that we later figured out was from the heater. Overall it was a good place to stay that allows dogs.

Terrible and dishonest

We booked this rental months in advance so we could attend the memorial of a close family member. The day before we were supposed to check in we were informed by the property manager that there would be construction on the roof happening for our entire stay, including the weekends. They gave us the option to cancel or get 25% off. With one day notice there were no other places to book within our price range so we had to keep our reservation. When we arrived it was clear that construction had been going on for some time and we were told it would continue throughout the summer. In light of this we should have been informed with a lot more notice so that we could have found another place to stay. We were told construction would not begin until 9am each day but it ended up starting before 730am on several days. There were nails and debris on the stairs to our unit and people using nail guns within a few feet of our heads as we passed. We had planned to have our dogs stay at the rental in crates while we attended events but due to the construction we had to find a doggie daycare at the last minute. There were ants in the unit and the washer and dryer didn’t work properly. When we asked about the 25% percent refund at the end of our stay we were told we had to sign a settlement agreement first that would not allow us to leave an honest review or inform Vrbo. We chose not to sign so we did not receive the agreed upon refund. I hope this helps future guests avoid this place.

The roofing work was being coordinated by a third-party contractor, and we had received confirmation that work would begin at 9 AM each day. Unfortunately, it appears the crew did not stick to that schedule, and we apologize for the early starts and any inconvenience caused by nails, debris, or noise. Regarding the settlement process, we follow a standardized agreement for partial refunds to ensure clarity and consistency for all parties, and we’re sorry if the process did not align with your expectations. We understand that your experience was impacted by circumstances beyond your control and appreciate your feedback, which helps us improve communication and guest support going forward.
