We chose to purchase a vacation home in the Ocean Pines neighborhood in Maryland because it perfectly balances tranquility, accessibility, and outdoor adventure. This area is a hidden gem along the Eastern Shore, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty while still being close to the excitement of Ocean City and Assateague Island.

Ocean Pines stood out because of its strong sense of community, extensive amenities, and picturesque location. The neighborhood offers so much for residents and visitors alike—waterfront views, parks, golf courses, and easy access to the bay and beach. It’s a place where you can unwind and enjoy nature but still feel connected to vibrant local attractions.

For us, having a property in Ocean Pines was about creating a haven where family and friends could make lasting memories. Whether it’s kayaking on the canals, crabbing by the bay, clamming on the sand bar, or taking a short drive to the drive on beach on Assateague Island, this neighborhood offers the perfect combination of relaxation and recreation. Inside, the home offers plenty of space and comfort with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, including two master suites with private bathrooms. One of the master suites is located on the first floor and is semi-handicap accessible with a ramp—an incredibly rare feature in vacation rentals.

The house also includes two laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, and both a Weber grill, making it perfect for extended stays or large gatherings.

Our property comfortably sleeps 17 people, making it an ideal choice for multiple families or large groups. The pet-friendly, fenced backyard ensures furry friends are welcome, while the fire pit creates cozy spaces to relax together in the evenings.

For families with kids, we’ve gone the extra mile by including plenty of games and toys to keep them entertained, while the adults can unwind knowing everyone is having a great time.
