Unfortunately this was my first ever guest and I learned some valuable lessons. Always verify the identity of the person who booked, I’m still not sure which person I rented to. They were some locals who wanted to have a big pool party, but I was unaware of anymore than the 2 guests the reservation was for until after the extra guests had arrived. They also said nothing about it upon my greeting them and instead messaged me about 5 minutes later asking where they should park and said they were having “some” friends over. I let them hang out in the pool until about 10:15pm when more and more people were showing up. I unfortunately shut it down because they failed to follow the 1 rule of no glass by the pool. I failed to lay down the ground rules and that is my mistake, one I certainly won’t make again.

We stayed here for my daughter's softball tournament that happened to be during the Women's College World series. The price was more than fair, considering the weekend. The guest house was clean and comfortable. The bed (adjustable) and pillows were good quality. The pool was fantastic. The host was exceptionally accommodating. Super great guy! The property has a great story, and he was more than happy to visit with us and tell us about it. My only request is that he adds another bed so we can bring the whole family next time! The whole experience was 10/10. One hundred percent would book again.

I’m sorry that your stay wasn’t what you hoped for. The house is quite visible from the road, though we do have a gravel driveway. There are 2 heaters in the room, a gas one affixed to the wall and a free standing one that plugs in. Had you asked for help with either of these, I would have been happy to help you. Maybe next time you could ask for help instead of just giving bad reviews, however I would still be happy to rent to you again. Thank you.

Fabulous Place

Kindred place was the perfect spot for a weekend get away. Country feel within the city limits. Home was clean and the bed was so comfy. The pool was sparkling clean and so refreshing. Beautiful landscaping gave a resort feel. . .

Great stay

Very clean and comfortable stay, though room was a bit warm. Pool was FANTASTIC. Host had the pool and area surround pristine and ready to use. Lots of amenities such as chairs and umbrellas around the pool as well as some water toys that were fantastic to have. 100/10. We will be staying there again.

Simply awesome!

Mr. Hughes is an awesome host! The room was reasonably priced and the accuracy of the listing was on point. We had access to the pool, but unfortunately did not have time to use it as we were busy doing other things around Oklahoma. The bed was super comfortable and he had snacks for us in the room! He has what I call “Paradise in the middle of chaos!” Thanks again, Mr. Hughes! Anytime we go back that way, we will stay again!
