Escape to The Hoona Beach House on the beautiful sunny south shore of Kaua'i. The Beach House is an ocean-front home, sitting literally 30 feet from the water's edge with 210-degree ocean views. You can hear the crashing waves from every room of this impeccable 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home. The lanai/deck stretches out from the rear of the house, giving you a perfect spot to watch the local surfers catch the massive breaking waves on the outside reef, enjoy the breathtaking sunset each evening, or watch the playful sea turtles at the water’s edge. At night, your reality will seamlessly become a dream with the sound of the waves just outside.
The Hoona Beach House is a spotlessly clean, open style single-story Hawaiian floorplan, with glass walls across the back. The property features a front-row ocean view from almost everywhere inside this 3-bedroom, 3-bath home. It is completely private with tropical surroundings, sitting on the shore of a tranquil cove with lava rock and coral reefs on both sides, giving you an unobstructed ocean view and privacy from neighbors.
In 2021 a major renovation and re-build of the Hoona Beach House was completed. Everything inside and out is modernized and brand new (from windows, doors, roof, cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, flooring, to even the furniture, etc.). The 1800 square foot home features an enormous, open living-dining area, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with a large pantry, and inside laundry facilities. A California king bed is in the master bedroom. The second and third bedrooms both offer queen sized beds. All baths have Caesarstone counter tops, and top of the line European designed fixtures. One-piece Toto toilets are in all three baths All linens and towels are provided, including plenty of large beach towels.
The Hoona Beach House is a custom designed tropical retreat. The interior has glass walls that open wide to the large lanai, where waves lap the reef only steps away. A gas barbecue is outside on the deck, for casual cooking. Ceiling fans are in each room, to enhance the cool, scented breeze of the trade winds. And, when you return from the beach, or if you just want to cool off, an outdoor, hot/cold shower is in a private corner of the rear yard under tall coconut trees, overlooking the sparkling ocean and reef. After your stay, you will cherish the memories of your visit for a lifetime.
