We stayed two nights at the yurt with our dog and had a great time! The yurt was very clean, comfortable, and lovely. We enjoyed the deck and used the grill both nights. The cooking supplies and utensils were well-stocked with everything we could have needed. The scenery and surrounding area were beautiful. We went on multiple hikes and explored nearby towns. On our way back to the yurt we took advantage of the shower which was super easy. Overall great stay, we would come back!

What an amazing experience! A great off-the-grid rental hosted by Shannon and Ryan! They were so accommodating and helpful. The location is right across the street from hiking trails and the cozy campfire made for a perfect outdoor getaway. Such a serene and quiet spot. The directions and descriptions were spot on. Everything you could think of was available for use. The Cinderella toilet was brilliant, (incinerates) and the shower was available at the house. The newly installed sink was also very useful. Was such a relaxing and refreshing break! Will recommend to everyone to experience outdoor living in a yurt and feel comfortable at same time.

Such a cool spot! It was really great to unwind and be off the grid. The yurt was super comfortable and the instructions provided by the owner were spot on and super helpful. We will definitely be staying again! WiFi and signal was very limited inside the yurt, but honestly that ended up being part of the appeal.

Amazing Stay!!

Besides it being a *bit* cold, our stay was great! Very close to Brattleboro and a bunch of other walkable towns. Great hiking areas. The yurt was so cute and had pretty much every cooking supply you could need. Will be back again in warmer weather! :)

First, I have to get this out of the way; the bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen. Even the incinerator bathroom/toilet. I was amazed.The yurt had everything you would need. The location was stunning. My little HRV made it up the hill fine. The walk to the main bathroom was easy. The towns were so quaint. Shannon even messaged me about a Saturday event that we went to and enjoyed. I would definitely go back. Peaceful, lots of nature trails and hikes, we canoed the river and when we had a rainy day, we lit the fire in the yurt and read and napped and enjoyed the sounds of rain. Communicative, thought of everything you may need, and comfortable. 15 out of 10.

25/10 stars, for real! This place is heaven on earth! I cannot express the solitude and peace here! We also had a lot of rain while staying and it was sooooo relaxing to listen to while being hugged in warmth from the fireplace! The incinerator toilet is SO easy to use and so so so convenient! There was no shortages in planning this property for the ultimate experience! We are already planning a return trip! And a bonus: the hosts are AMAZING!!!!

My husband, myself and our 2 dogs had an amazing experience at the Restful Yurt. It’s charming! We felt so relaxed and comfortable there. The hosts are wonderful people. They go above and beyond what you would expect. The yurt is clean and has all you need for a nice getaway. The incinerator toilet is fantastic! My family and I are looking forward to our next trip to the Yurt! We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and relaxing in front of the fire pit. I highly recommend this cozy and unique experience.

An Oasis in the woods

I was looking for 'winter camping' but got a stunning luxury stay. Really. Everything is new and clean and well thought out. Shannon is on it. It's really pretty magical. A balance of 'outdoorsy' and comfortable that's hard to find. It got down to about -12C (10F) but we were comfy with the fire going. Thanks, Shannon.

This was our second visit to the yurt and we were happy to return. It's very peaceful & nestled into the trees - perfect for a quick getaway.The yurt has what you need for some basic Coleman stove cooking, eating, cleaning, and relaxing inside or outside. The wood stove inside is very efficient and effective at heating the yurt. We didn't use the outside fire pit this time because it was a pretty rainy weekend.The toilet by the yurt is lovely and clean and only a few steps away.They've done a bunch of work on the property in the year and half since we last visited including a 2nd yurt! It is far enough away to feel you have privacy and close enough that voices and music can carry over a bit.Communication with Shannon was excellent, as it was the first time. She is thorough, quick to respond, and very generous.Highlights of the area for us were the state park across the street for daily walks, a short distance from the Brattleboro Co-op where we stocked up on groceries, and a short distance from a wonderful distillery with great spirits.We will definitely be staying again in the future!!!

We stayed at the yurt to celebrate my birthday and it was such a wonderful experience! We had an amazing time hiking in the forest right across the street with our pups, it was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what we were hoping for. One thing we especially loved was having access to a full bathroom down the hill by the main house. That honestly made a huge difference and made the stay feel even more comfortable and convenient.The yurt itself was cozy and charming. The wood stove made it feel extra special, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also had such a great interaction with the owners, they were so kind and welcoming (I believe they were making syrup while we were there!), which made the stay feel even more warm and personal.The only small downside for us was how close the two yurts are to each other. We could hear music from the other yurt, and their dog was off-leash and didn’t seem very friendly, so we were a little hesitant about letting our dogs out. That said, aside from the closeness of the yurts, we truly enjoyed our one-night stay and had a really lovely birthday celebration.Overall, it was a cozy, memorable experience and we’re really glad we chose to stay here!

Very clean. Keep in mind it’s camping. No restroom in the yurt. There is an outhouse a few steps away. There is a very clean real bathroom and shower that you have access to down the hill
