Spacious Historic Manor with Chef's Kitchen • Horse-Friendly
This enormous Southern Pines house boasts 7 inviting bedrooms, including 4 king beds, 3 queen beds, and 2 twin beds (bunk beds). Bring the whole family together in our stately yet cozy historic manor, situated peacefully among mature longleaf pines. Built in 1916, the home was made for hosting, historically serving as a bed & breakfast, nightclub, and even a speakeasy! Now, with 7 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and many comfortable lounging areas, the manor is the perfect place for large groups (up to 18 guests) to spend time together. On-site stalls for horse boarding are also available at a rate of $30 per horse per night.
Max occupancy is 18 guests (and children under 2 years of age do not count towards the occupancy limit). We look forward to welcoming you!

THE SPACE: The house is equipped with central heating and air conditioning. Each floor has its own thermostat.
Hi-speed WiFi is available throughout the house, strengthened by special routers to ensure there are no weak signal areas.
FIRST FLOOR: 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, dining room, game room/lounge, living room, piano room, entryway seating area
SECOND FLOOR: 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms
EXTERIOR: • Front: 2 outdoor seating lounge areas, huge secluded front yard • Rear: 2 separate patios with outdoor seating; one of the patios has a fire pit • Carport/driveway: Parking for up to 10 cars is available, with 4 covered spots in the carport. There is also ample room for parking of horse trailers. • Adjacent to house: Large side yard and active horse stables and pastures; please note that guests are not permitted to interact with resident horses without the express prior permission of the stable manager. Guests wishing to board their horses may do so at a rate of $30 per horse per night; up to 3 stalls are available. Please mention in your booking request if you wish to book stalls.

KITCHEN: This home's kitchen is a chef's dream! • Appliances: Gas stove with two cooktops, two ovens, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave • Small appliances: Water boiler, coffeemaker, kettle • Butcher's block • Plates, bowls, cutlery, glassware, can opener, whisk, spatulas, wine openers, measuring cups/spoons, wide variety of cooking utensils, cutting boards, sharp knives • Good quality pots, pans, mixing bowls, baking sheets • Coffee, tea, hot chocolate • Cooking necessities: olive oil, salt & pepper, vinegar, condiments, TONS of spices, baking ingredients • Small smart TV above fridge • Gas fireplace • Seating for 7 people (3 chairs at island; 4 chairs at table) • Fire extinguisher under sink • Cleaning products under sink
DINING ROOM: Seats 8, with an additional 4 at the kitchen table and 3 at the kitchen island. Folding table is available upon request.
BATHROOMS: All bathrooms are appointed with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, cotton pads, Q-tips, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and makeup towels. A hair dryer and straightener are located in the upstairs bedroom/bathroom near the linen closet.
FRONT HALL CLOSETS: Contain brooms, vacuums, first aid kit, extra linens, beach towels, pack-n-play
Other Miscellaneous Notes: • Garbage pick-up is on Tuesdays. Please place only bagged trash (no loose items) in the trashcans. • An ADA-compliant portable (foldable) wheelchair ramp is stored in the front hall closet and can be set out for your arrival upon request. • Plenty of (free) parking is available in the carport, in front of the carport, and on the circular driveway in front of the house. Cars should not block access to the pasture adjacent to the carport. • We request that guests remove their shoes at the door to help preserve our home's floors and carpets.
No pets allowed: Due to the presence of active horse stables onsite, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets. In the event that guests bring unauthorized pets, the reservation will be terminated immediately, and guests will be asked to leave, with no refunds. (Note: this policy does not apply to horses, which can be boarded at the on-site stable for an additional cost of $30 per horse per night.)

Southern Pines noise ordinances dictate no loud noises between the hours of 11pm-7am on weekdays and 11pm-10am on weekends and holidays.
Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property, including outside.
Please note that guests do not have access to the gated pool area, the basement, the attic, and locked owners' closets.

Host was great to communicate with, the house was nice and clean, very user friendly. Main bedroom has a urinal so that was epic as well. Great property, I would highly recommend.

Triss allowed us to host our wedding at her incredible and unique manor. It was truly the best weekend of my life, and she ensured we had everything we needed before, during and after the trip. Extra points because the communication was always quick and easy. We can’t wait to come back!
