The house gets its name, "The Piano House" from the current next-door neighbor, who once lived in the house and has taught generations of families piano lessons from the 70's to the present day. If ever ask which house tell them "The house where Mrs. Meinke taught piano lessons" they will know. There is rich History in Bellville and this house is part of that history.

Very comfortable and homey house. It was so convenient to our wedding venue, Amsler Hills Winery. We found excellent places for breakfast and pizza close by. The variety and comfort of sleeping accommodations would make it great for any kind of gathering. The host was very easy to communicate with and check in and out was easy. The Piano House was simply amazing! It was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable.The owner takes great pride in making sure the guests have everything they need. The house is very cozy and has a home away from home feel. Located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The little town of Bellville is very cute. I would stay there again. I highly recommend this property.

Piano house a perfect house

The Piano House was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Everything was plush and the furnishings so lovely. It was so clean and wonderfully decorated. There was nothing that was overlooked to make our stay delightful. This was a marvelous home away from home. Outstanding rental!

Like Home Away From Home

This house truly makes you feel like home with all the needs taken care of. The house is so comfortable and charming. The neighborhood is safe and friendly and close to everything in Bellville. We even learned to play pickleball with the equipment provided in the house. An overall wonderful experience and a great place to stay!

Cute, clean, and comfortable home! Great location; close to the grocery store and gas station and a short drive to the middle of town. It is close enough to the railroad tracks that run through Bellville to hear the train blowing the horn in the night. I understand that that isn’t unusual in Bellville, but earplugs should help with that. The host was great with communication and quick to respond to any needs. Would love to stay here again!

I love this charming house full of history and notoriety. For generations, the youth of Bellville came to learn piano here. Long-time residents refer to this house as, Mrs. Menke's house, where they learned piano. Mrs. Menke still teaches piano lessons next door.
