Whether it be casting a line for a salmon or steelhead, launching one of (6) provided kayaks, enjoying a cozy fire inside or outside by one of two outdoor firepits, sitting in the four-season large porch sipping your morning coffee, or going for bragging rights in the fabulous game room, the entertainment is endless. This house will simply 'awe you' whether young or old, rain or shine with three levels of living to spread out and relax. The Coho Cabin boasts 8 nice size bedrooms, 4 full large bathrooms, two family rooms and a large game room/bonus room that makes the 8th bedroom. Set back in a secluded area just south of Iron Fish Distillery on the river, you will enjoy the peace and quietness on 6 acres of wooded property.

Award winning Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa is only 3 miles to the back entrance and the popular family-friendly Iron Fish Distillery is walkable at less than a mile from the house. You are also close to Lake Michigan pristine beaches, sand dunes, numerous golf courses, skiing, biking & hiking trails, snowmobile & ORV trails, wine and beer tasting, and the numerous fun resort towns close by that the NW Lower Peninsula has to offer. The Coho Cabin puts you in a location for all of it!

The home can sleep up to 20 comfortably in beds and is perfect for multi-family use in the three levels of living space. As you enter the home you are greeted with a generous mudroom and large custom lockers with plenty of space to hang and store your outdoor gear while there. At the far end of the mudroom is also a large capacity washer & dryer at your disposal along with a mudroom sink. As you stroll down the hallway you enter into the large open great room and kitchen area complete with a beautiful pine tongue & groove ceiling. The well-stocked kitchen has top of the line appliances and more than you need to prepare large meals and feel right at home. A refrigerator with two ice makers and filtered water, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, 14-cup coffee maker & Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock pot, cookware, pots, pans and utensils for your group are all waiting. The large custom live-edge slab kitchen table seats 10-12 along with another 6 at the large kitchen island. The family room has two large comfortable couches and other seating to sit back and relax. The open kitchen/family room floor plan creates the perfect space to entertain and look out at the patio, river & property, enjoy a cozy fire or watch a game or movie on the 65" smart TV. Off the kitchen is a cozy custom tongue and groove pine four-season porch that seats up to 14. It has a large electric fireplace, 55" smart tv and also doubles as a large screened in porch during warmer months. The house also has High-Speed Fiber Internet. Down the main floor hall, you will find a nice size primary bedroom with king bed, huge closet and a full primary bath & custom tiled shower. It also has a 43" smart tv. There is another main floor bedroom across from the primary bedroom that features a queen bed. Additionally, there is a large full bathroom off the hallway close to the other two bedrooms. As you head upstairs you are greeted by a gorgeous custom pine stairwell and landing. The upstairs features four additional bedrooms, two with king size beds, two with queen beds and one large full bathroom. One of the four upstairs bedrooms is a huge bonus bedroom at 16' x 30' complete with closet and doubles as a game enthusiasts dream. There you will find a comfy sectional queen sleeper bed w/ linens, 60" smart tv, electric fireplace and games galore! The view from the bonus room is spectacular and overlooks nothing but hardwoods past the driveway up our property. Moving back down the pine stairwell will take you into the large lower-level and third living area accented with a pine tongue and groove wall. You are greeted down there with a large second family room complete with sectional queen sleeper sofa bed, a large electric fireplace and 65" smart tv, a kitchenette complete with second refrigerator & freezer, a game table/chairs, pool table and a high-top table and stools. Down the hall is the 4th full bathroom and two more large bedrooms. One features a king size bed and the other bedroom two double beds and a 43" smart tv. Under the stairs is a storage closet with a comfy twin roll-away bed that can go in multiple areas down there if needed. YouTube TV with over 100 channels and local channels are provided throughout the house.

Take in the serenity and nature being situated along the beautiful Betsie River. Enjoy fantastic river views from the backyard and sitting area by the river stairs. Sip your morning coffee, enjoy a meal or watch your fellow angler cast a line or play around in river while sitting in one of the additional 8 Adirondack chairs next to river. Here you will find a second firepit as you listen to the tranquility of the river. As a bonus you can simply walk right into the river there for easy access and being shallow nice to fish, play around or launch a kayak, canoe or tube. There are no homes directly across the river from our property, so it is very private down there. Head back up to the beautiful and large backyard where there is plenty of room to run around or play one of the many provided yard games. (Corn Hole, Bocce Ball, giant Connect Four, Kan Jam, just to name a few.) There is a 38'-foot-long stamped concrete patio with integrated firepit and surrounded by Adirondack chairs. The patio also provides two large patio tables and up to 16 additional seats. A Weber gas grill and propane is provided for your grilling convenience. It is very common to see bald eagles, deer, heron, fox, turtles and other wildlife around the property. The Betsie River is known for its salmon and steelhead along with trout fishing.

Up for water fun? Grab one of the (6) provided kayaks and walk down the stairs to the river area and launch right from the house. Paddles and standard life vest provided but bring your own life vest if desired. (Please note the Betsie River flows one way so plan accordingly) Launch upriver or launch at the house and pull out at multiple public access pts. down river. Map provided upon request. Feeling like a walk, bike ride or snowshoe adventure? Our quiet gravel driveway and private road is perfect for walks, riding bikes & snowshoeing as well. You can even walk, ride a bike or snowshoe over to the Iron Fish Distillery!

Rainy or too cold out? We have you covered. Play one of the many games provided up in bonus room or shoot some pool in the lower level. The bonus room has three arcade units with 30 different games on them. There is also a 9' shuffleboard table, jr. ping pong, foosball, large wall mounted connect four, Hooky ring game and many more board games to keep all ages entertained. You can also turn on the fireplace in there and put on a movie or special sporting event from the 60" smart TV w/ YouTube TV.

Only three miles to Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa and Crystal Market. There you can ski, golf, bike, hike, swim or take in one of many activities. The house is situated in a great location as it becomes the perfect base camp for daily adventures. You can visit Traverse City, Frankfort, Glen Arbor, Beulah, Manistee, Leland, Interlochen, Crystal Lake, Little River Casino, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and Lake Michigan.
