Wonderful Stay

What perfect place to stay! Within walking distance to Gatlinburg but felt so private and relaxing too. What a cozy comfy cottage feel. We had the best vacation.

The most amazing cabin

This cabin was beautiful! Great location, beautifully decorated, immaculate, comfortable beds, nice linens, well stocked kitchen, nice big bathrooms and so easy to get to downtown. We will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed in the cozy cottage for 3 nights and would’ve loved to stayed longer! The home was even nicer in person and very convenient to the office. It’s also super close to downtown gatlinburg with lots of things to do. Would highly recommend and are definitely planning to come back!

Christmas at Cozy Creek

We have now spent Christmas at Cozy Creek Cottage two years in a row, and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay both times. The hinges on the master bedroom closet were broken when we got there. I called the management office, and within 5 minutes the maintenance man was there and had it fixed very quickly. We will probably rent it again for next year…just hope it’s a little warmer than this year! Love the creek out back, the fire pit, jacuzzi, pool table, large showers, great water pressure, etc.! We will be back!!!

My husband and I planned a short stay in Gatlinburg during early January and chose Cozy Creek Cottage. The location was perfect, although a little too far of a walk to downtown for us. However, we didn't mind driving to downtown as there was plenty of parking during the week. We enjoyed having a well stocked kitchen as we chose to cook a couple of days. The fireplace was our Favorite! We definitely used it every night, especially with the temps in the 20's! Overall, we would certainly choose to stay here again on our next Gatlinburg vacation!

Thanks for the review and we are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Cozy Creek Cottage. This new chalet is convenient to downtown, but maybe more of a walk than you were expecting because it's all Up Hill! There is a trolley stop half way, but there are also plenty of parking lots on the upper end of town that you can get to easily and quickly. Having your own kitchen is a great way to practice social distancing and saves you money on eating out. There is nothing better than a nice fire on a cold night. We hope you can return soon.

We also loved the location! During our stay, we spent our days hiking in the National Park, and it was so nice to have a short drive from the NP entrance and short ride into Gatlinburg for dinner at night. I loved not having to drive up into the mountains to get 'home'. The back of the house has a lovely long covered porch next to a creek, which was nice to listen to, and we loved the hot tub at the end of each day to help our sore muscles from hiking. The home is also conveniently right across from the check-in office so it was easy to change out towels. Overall, I highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to the Smoky Mountains.

Nice property with a few issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All was good, very clean and all items needed were provided. Beds very comfortable and entire house very comfortable. Few things that should have been addressed but not a big deal, battery was needed in the clock, light bulbs were out in upstairs bathroom. I know minor things but things that should have been addressed when noticed by the cleaning crew. Also the door going into upstairs bathroom would not shut due to striker plates not lining up and light switch cover would not cover the oversized hole (possible safety hazard). The stairs were not finished off with flooring couldn't understand why this was not finished made the stairs look very tacky. Beautiful porch on back with hot tub was very nice along with the beauty of the interior of the cabin, very farmhouse looking. Loved the furnishings in all of the rooms, loved the kitchen. Even though it was very close to the road you really didn't hear traffic coming and going. I would stay again just need to address a few issues, you pay this much for a property and you expect it to be perfect. All in all a much needed and enjoyable trip to Gatlinburg.

It was a cozy cottage being close to the babbling brook listening to the water run down the creek. The tv chairs slid on the floor when you would sit down if you were not careful. We found one stadium chair broken when we arrived and the door and window shades were not in the best operational condition. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Thank you

Laurel Chalets is the BEST as always in our past rentals since 1985, which is a lot of Chalets we have stayed in over the years. Lovely Farmhouse decor inside with a warm family setting. Beds are so very comfortable and Kay King is a gem! She helps with our chalet selections every year. The Office is decorated beautifully for Christmas as well as the Chalet. Loved being next to the Office, so handy. Everything was just perfect. Loved the Gas Fireplace and the sound of the Creek out back, nice decks with super nice furniture. LOVE it! My new favorite house. I want to come back to again. May I add a Good Luck to Cheryl Ryan who we spent some time with @ the Office, she will be missed as she retires from Mountain Laurel Chalets. We do love this cottage and it's convenience, but we were disappointed to see that minor repairs that it needs here and there had not been done since our last stay. We really can't understand why the owner has left the vinyl plank floor unfinished all around the edges. It could be a trip hazard for some going up and down the stairs, where the problem is worse. It makes one wonder their thinking on such a neat little place. More to love than not though for us. We really like being able to build a fire outside in the fire pit. I bring seasoned fire wood from home, but i did see a few small bundles under the back porch. Just bring some charcoal starter. Two large masters, 2.5 baths and gas logs. We recommend this cottage for a couple or two couples. Make sure to bring a hair dryer. We really like Mt Laurel Chalets. Very friendly and professional people.

We parked at the city parking deck behind Ripley’s ($10/day) so we could bypass all the Parkway traffic by taking River Rd going back to the cabin at night.We felt at home in the property and it was the perfect size for 2-4 people. The cabin is more modern than other cabins in the area, which we loved! It was very clean when we checked-in. Both bedrooms have king beds and large walk-in showers. Although this property is next to the leasing office and Ski Mtn. Rd it is very quiet and relaxing! There’s a creek in the back that you hear over any cars that drive by if you’re relaxing on the deck, at the fire pit, or in the hot tub! The property has a welcome binder with information about the area and restaurant recommendations. We went to several restaurants: The Peddler, The Park Grill, Gatlinburg Brewing, Smokey Mountain Brewing, Trish’s Mountain Diner, Atrium Pancakes, Crockett Breakfast Camp, Log Cabin Pancake House. Best lunch/dinner was at The Park Grill. Best breakfast was at Log Cabin Pancake House. The Gatlinburg Sky Lift led to the Sky Bridge which is unique, but we enjoyed Ankeesta more for the Tree Top Skywalk, gardens, coffee, and restaurants. If you like aquariums the Ripley Aquarium was great! They have Penguin and Stingray feeding times which were interesting to watch. For Mini Golf we liked the Hillbilly Golf course. For whiskey, we preferred Ole Smokey Moonshine. For wine, we loved Goodwater Wine because it wasn’t as sweet as the other wine companies on the Parkway. If you’re feeling adventurous, there’s a Zip Line company, ClimbWorks, that’s a 30-minute drive from the cabin. It was beautiful, safe, and fun. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, comfortable, lots to do in your down time after coming back from the strip. I would definitely rent this home again. It was a little close to the road however made it an easy walk to the strip.

This chalet is a favorite for so many and the extra sound proof insulation used in construction allows the guests to not even think about traffic on the road and the proximity to the office and downtown makes this a great option for those wanting to be close but away from downtown.
