This was one of the most unpleasant and poorly maintained places I’ve ever stayed. It is a small, minimalist, block-built unit that appears to be decades old and offers virtually no basic conveniences. We contracted to stay 21 days and were provided only one roll of paper towels and two rolls of toilet paper.The room was extremely damp and muggy. You are expected to operate a large, noisy portable dehumidifier constantly and repeatedly empty it. In a room this small, the noise is unbearable. Combine that with the small heating/cooling unit mounted above the bed, and sleeping, relaxing, or watching TV becomes almost comical because of the constant racket.On our first day, I looked out the kitchen window and saw a disgusting mattress lying on the ground, covered with bugs. Then it started raining. The sound of rain pounding on that filthy mattress continued throughout the night—an experience I certainly never want to repeat.To make matters worse, the rain spout above the entrance did not work. Water poured directly over the doorway, forcing us to dodge puddles and streams every time we entered or left. Someone or something was getting soaked.Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a particularly rainy period, which only magnified the problems. This is a place for someone with extremely low standards for cleanliness, comfort, and basic amenities. If you expect a clean, comfortable, reasonably maintained place to stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Cute and affordable

Very cute studio in a great location close to downtown. Check in process was easy and the place was tastefully decorated and clean. Perfect for a single or couple.

My overall experience was good. The host was very quick to fix the fridge that was not getting cold. The check in/out process was good. The only thing is that I can say that I didn’t like was that the cleanliness of the room. The floors were clearly dirty and there was a mystery stain on the lounge chair. It’s was good for 100/night but wished it was cleaned better for that price.
