This was an amazing cabin for our family to stay in! Plenty of room in doors with everything you need to have a great vacation. The outdoors were perfectFor our family to explore and make great memories around the fire pit. It is close to town so shopping and restaurants were close by. It was perfect to sit on the balcony and enjoy your morning coffee to spending time with your family and making amazing memories together.

Cute property with a balcony on each floor. Easy to access even for my little Corolla. Was fully stocked and the host goes above and beyond by stocking water/snacks/coffee-tea bar ect. Could hear the elk bugling at dawn and dusk. Lots of birds including steller jays!

Very cozy place and great setup for traveling with a dog. Great proximity to town for anything you might need. Family of four loved it and there was room for a couple more if needed. We would for sure stay here again.

Lovely spot and the cabin had everything you could need. Only two miles from town and lots of good hiking spots within 20-30 minutes or less. Even a walk in the neighborhood was a good workout with the hills. Our two small dogs even had a fenced area for potty. We spent many lovely hours on the deck listening to the birds. The one small drawback was the business across the road which could be somewhat noisy even early in the morning and depending what kinds of equipment was being run you could get the smell of diesel. Nothing to be done and we did t let it spoil our enjoyment of the outdoors. Town as only a two mile drive or 30 minutes to Alamogordo if you had specific shopping needs. Loved the area and would come back. Host was lovely and checked o. Is a few times to make sure we didn’t need anything. Great stay.

This was a great place to stay to explore southern New Mexico. The location and the cabin are very nice. We loved having the birds visit us on the balcony. The upstairs shower could be a little tight for a larger person, but we were fine. Other than that, this cabin is very nice, and we would highly recommend it. The host, Kelly, provided any needed communication in a timely manner.

We had a wonderful stay (our second stay here) and would absolutely come back! The downstairs walk-in tub is such a fantastic feature—comfortable, relaxing, and a real luxury after a day of exploring. Upstairs, the bedroom is incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the coffee bar, which made it so convenient to enjoy morning coffee without having to head downstairs.One of the best parts of our stay was waking up each morning to the peaceful view of the trees, breathing in the fresh air, and enjoying the quiet surroundings. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge.Kelly has done an exceptional job creating a warm, comfortable, and welcoming home. Every detail made us feel at ease, and it was clear how much care has gone into making this a special place for guests. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying again!

My son and I enjoyed the Birds of a Feather. It was very clean and comfy! Definitely pet friendly, but didn’t have my dog. We enjoyed watching the birds off the patio. Very cute place!
