The house was as expected, owners very communicative, and property was clean. We especially appreciated room to park 2 vehicles in the drive behind the garage. Kitchen was well-equipped but small; we did use the washer/dryer which was very convenient. There was nothing "wrong" with the property representation or the process, it's just not terribly roomy. The location feels sketchy at first, but we had no trouble and all was quiet at night.That said, overall we were happy with our stay here! (And we enjoyed the bottle of "welcome" wine from the owners-cheers!)

Super clean and great location!

I stayed here two separate times for 5-days each stay. The property is well maintained, and they have all the amenities I needed to cook for myself. The owners are very responsive and very accommodating. I was in town for flight training at the Renton airport and the house is in walking distance from the airport and MANY great places to eat. Great experience (both times)!

Renton: Not what you think.

Our first impression was negative. The neighborhood is rundown and scary. The dead rabbit carcass in the yard, along with a dead shrub didn't help. The unit itself is cute but the draperies really need to be replaced by shades or blinds. The property is close to the old part of Renton: The only positive things there are the German restaurant (Berliner) and the people at the Chamber of Commerce. The Landing is a nice place to shop and have lunch. The beauty of the location was that it was close to Seattle and the airport.

Ok stay, but the chore list was off-putting

Ok place, mattress was too soft and not good for people with sensitive back. The checkout chore list was something else though: strip the linens and put them in laundry, run the dishes, tidy up the house, take the trash out, set AC at certain temp, etc, etc. So what is the 120 cleaning charge for then?

Excellent Experience in Renton, WA

This property was precisely as described. The hosts were the most communicative and prompt to reply of all of the stays I have done through VRBO. This property had excellent off-street parking (for the 609 unit of a duplex property). It was conveniently located to most amenities that a traveler would desire. The master bedroom bed was excellent; a solid PLUS for us older travelers. It is a well maintained older property with the typical small bathroom common in such. This was a small inconvenience but a larger main bath would have been a plus. All equipment in the unit was in excellent condition and worked as expected. The location merited 4 stars ONLY because most of my time was spent in N. Renton, Issaquah and Newcastle or Bellevue. However, the value of this location and the positives related to the property made the additional travel/commute time a small price to pay. I would readily recommend this property to others, and I would wish all hosts were as communicative and prompt in their responses as the hosts for this property.
