Eagles are known to return in the fall to roost in the cotton wood trees on the Animas river. Wildlife visits from deer, raccoon, turkeys… relax in the tub after touring the scenic 4 corners area. This house was a hidden gem, the view of the river and gazebo in the rear were incredible. Perfect for relaxing. Hot tub and bar area in back were a hit with my three kids. Host was very responsive, would definitely stay again.

Great home base for exploring Chaco Canyon and Aztec area! Super clean and spacious home with huge fenced yard and the Animas River running right behind it. The host was great, and the home was very comfortable for our stay. The yard was so great for our dogs to explore in. It was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals, etc. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and it felt very safe there. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

Our stay at the Rustic 3 bedroom house in Aztec was wonderful. The house was equipped w/eveything needed for an extended stay and very clean. Loved the location to town and the river. The river side gazebo was a favorite place to unwind from our busy days.

We had to be in Aztec for a double funeral for my grandma and uncle who passed in a tragic car accident. We needed a place that felt like home in this time of great sadness, and this home was just that for us. We were able to relax unwind and feel comfortable in the space and even had a Frito pie dinner with our family after the funeral. The expansive property with river access was the cherry on top. Made for a nice after dinner walk! A big thank you to the host for a comfortable and very well kept home, being welcoming, responsive, and understanding in our time of need

Great sized fenced in yard for dogs.

The home is rustic but clean and the beds were comfortable, kitchen was fine for prepping meals, maybe one more chair in the living room. Our dog loved the big yard but I had to pick up many small pieces of trash so he would not eat them. We didn’t use the jacuzzi only because that isn’t our thing. Good location to drive from for fishing and touring the Aztec ruins.. Thanks.
