The Space:
Quiet residential neighborhood, walking distance to playground. Minutes to the Henrietta mall and RIT

Guest have access to entire home which includes washer and dryer in the basement. 3+ car driveway and with plenty of street parking.

Very safe and quiet neighborhood

Getting Around:

• Quiet hours from 10pm-7am

Only 8 minutes to RIT parking

Perfect for our visit to RIT, three queen beds and was just what I wanted.Safe neighborhood, close to most national chains and the highway.Bare bones in terms of kitchen supplies and decoration, and might be a bit chilly in winter.

Not exactly stunning, but did the job

Overall this property was a 6 out of 10 (and that is probably generous). The property listing pictures are not up-to-date. The inside painted a different color and there is not enough lighting in the house. The yard was a little overgrown and probably wasn’t mowed within the last two weeks. The old unusable stove fan in the ceiling had spider webs. Did not use the electric stove, but stovetop was burnt and one burner light was constantly. Blinds in kitchen were broken. Vents and bathroom rack rusted. These are just cosmetic fixes that haven’t been addressed and show it’s a rental and not a real VRBO.It smelt like someone had been smoking in the house recently, but eventually, the smell went away with open windows. Owner mentioned ozone machine was available.Portable A/C units were only available for the bedrooms and vented in those rooms. Not enough silverware for more than two people (plenty of dishes and glassware). There were no kitchen extras so bring spices, storage containers, paper products, etc.Internet was spotty even with resets at the house and owner reaching out provider.Water pressure and hot water was great! Neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to. Great layout and great size yard. Owner responded timely with any messages.Again - bare, bare minimum available within house so bring whatever you may need. Would we rent the property again? Maybe - we would just come more prepared (fans, silverware, paper products, etc.).

Disgusting

My family and I ended up leaving the house an hour after arriving. It was very dirty, it smelled like cigarettes and the house was not cleaned prior to us arriving. The bedsheets had cigarette burns and some were stained. The mattresses were disgusting and, again, were stained. Three of the beds did not come with any sheets or bedding or pillows. The breaker ended up going out three times because the house had several AC units in it; then when I called the host, she claims that has never happened. Even with the AC units on it was still extremely hot in the house. I was very upset because me and my family had to end up getting a hotel that night and it was hard cause a lot of the hotels were booked at 9:30pm."these photos aren't great because there was no power or lights in parts of the house.

Responsive host, but cannot recommend property

I cannot recommend this property. When we arrived for our check-in, we immediately noticed a very strong stench. I do appreciate that the host was very responsive when I reached out even though it was late in the evening when we arrived. They offered us an alternative accommodation and I did appreciate that. We accepted the alternative because this house was not in a condition we could stay in. I hope the host is able to address the maintenance needs of this property, and wish them well in their endeavors.

Disgusting!!!!!! Unsafe! DO NOT STAY HERE

The driveway was not plowed, the walkway all ice. The house had a horrible ordor & was FILTHY!!! The back slider had no lock, blinds were broken, a hole in the ceiling with a blanket shoved in it. Doors falling off hinges, chipped floors & a drain filled with hair and no washxloths to ahower.
