Timber Lodge is a charming log home nestled along the serene shores of Catchacoma Lake. The property is the perfect place for your summer getaway. Take yourself for a morning stroll through the beautiful trails nearby, taking in all the summer breeze or a nice dip in the lake. Relax in the sauna, cozy up by the outdoor fire table with some board games, or gather around the outdoor bonfire with friends and family after a day of exploring all that this property has to offer.

The property comfortably accommodates our guests in three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. Just a 1.5-hour drive from the GTA, Timber Lodge is the perfect pet-friendly getaway for families and friends alike, offering all the amenities you need for an unforgettable stay.

With a large dock and water toys at your disposal, you’ll love spending time on the lake, soaking in the scenic water views (seasonal).
The property features three expansive decks:

- The upper deck includes two bar dining sets, a BBQ, and a Green Egg smoker, perfect for outdoor cooking with a view.
- The middle deck offers a cozy conversation set with a fire table and a screened-in dining area for a more intimate experience.
- The lower deck invites you to unwind in one of four hammocks while taking in the breathtaking lake views and the bonfire pit area.

With nearby hiking and biking trails to explore, this is the ideal spot for both relaxation and adventure. BEDROOMS:

Timber Lodge offers 3 separate bedrooms, with 4 beds in total.

Bedroom 1 - The primary bedroom is a beautiful large room that overlooks the front of the home, and has a comfortable King Bed. This bedroom has a walk-in closet & an ensuite bathroom. (Sleeps 2)

Bedroom 2 - This bedroom has a queen-sized bed & a fun kids single bed in the loft & is located in the second level. (Sleeps up to 2)

Bedroom 3 - This bedroom is also located in the second level, and has two single bedrooms perfect for children. (Sleeps 2)

BATHROOMS:

The house has 2 full bathrooms, each with plenty of storage and great water pressure.

Main level Bathroom: The newly renovated main floor bathroom contains a custom shower, and modern vanity. This bathroom is the ensuite for the Master Bedroom, but also connects to the dining room.

Second level Bathroom: This second-floor bathroom has a shower/tub combo and has a large vanity. This bathroom is perfect for the guests in the second floor.

These two bathrooms have ample space for all guests so you won’t have to spend time waiting!

There is no public transportation to Timber Lodge. You will either need to own your own car or rent a vehicle to get here. Please note that all wheel drive or a 4x4 is required to access the property in the winter due to the long driveway.

Pre-Arrival Information:
After your booking is confirmed, we’ll send a short pre-arrival form for the primary guest to complete. This helps us prepare for your stay and includes basic details such as guest contact information, names of additional guests, confirmation of house rules, and your expected arrival time. The form only takes a few minutes to complete and helps ensure a smooth check-in experience. Once submitted, we’ll be able to provide the full check-in and access instructions for the property.

Our space is located in the woods and we do treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of being surrounded by beautiful mother nature. Should this be of concern to you our space may not be the best fit.

Animals you may see during your stay include deer, black bears, groundhogs, mice, insects.

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification. Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification.

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking. This is at a cost of $84, and is non-negotiable as AirBnB only covers up to 2 Million in Liability, and our additional insurance (which we also pay on top) will cover us to 5 Million due to the size of the home.

Please note that we have the property set up for up to 6 people. Please inquire if you have questions about our sleeping arrangements! Please make sure you have set the right occupancy for the property. Any pets outside of the ones on the listing also need to be pre-approved before booking.

In the winter we include shovels and salt for your use. Please note the property doesn't have a generator and power outages can happen in cottage country. Most will get sorted out within a few hours. Please use fireplace if needed (we have extra firewood in the front of the home), and just enjoy the property until it is restored. Most are within a few hours! We won't refund for power outages unless severly impact your stay, and usually over 12 hours.

Garbage has to be taken to the dump after your stay as we don't have garbage pick up. We have a dump pass for your use. Please note if you would like the garbage taken away by our cleaner it is $25 per bag if desired.
