Casa Sea-Esta built Casa Cielo, and its adjoining partner Casa Mar, in 2023 with the vision of creating an oasis for their guests to escape to and to find comfort in during their visit to our beautiful beach town. Casa Cielo and Casa Mar are mirror images of one another, providing a cohesive and welcoming environment. Each Casa may be rented individually or together.

Guest Access:
Guests have private access to Casa Cielo, with a portion of the garden pathway and the pool being shared. You will enjoy a peaceful stay while being part of a small, exclusive community.

Nestled in the heart of Playa Pelada, Nosara, Casa Cielo is close to a variety of activities and attractions. From surfing and stand-up paddleboarding, to local markets and delicious dining, you’ll find everything you need just moments away. House Rules:
- No smoking inside Casa Cielo or on the property generally
- No pets allowed
- Quiet hours from 9 PM to 6 AM to respect other guests and neighbors

Roads to Pelada:
As still a developing country, some of the roads in Costa Rica, including the road to and surrounding Nosara are still unpaved and can be bumpy, with potholes in some areas. While this is part of the charm of the area, a 4x4 vehicle to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey is suggested.
Security:
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the very few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). However, Casa Cielo is gated, maintaining motion detected cameras on the outer perimeter of the property and a safe inside the home for your belongings. The guest, and not the Homeowner or Property Manager, is ultimately responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and should ensure all doors are locked and gate closed every time they leave the Property.
Internet and Electricity:
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. Guests should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a SIM card. Please note that neither the Homeowner or the Property Manager has any control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. Of course, if there is any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager immediately and they will do what they can to assist you.
Water:
Though Casa Cielo does maintain a back-up tank that should provide you with ample water during your stay, during the dry season months of December through April, the Property may experience low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut offs.
Jungle Creatures:
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped and/or store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters, minimize eating in the bedroom, and keep screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).
Refunds:
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. Additionally, as this area is a rapidly growing community, we cannot guarantee that there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance:
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.
