This property is extremely convenient to everything that we wanted to do in Key West. The home itself is clean, and the floorplan is quirky which is fine for a vacation property. You enter the front door and then there is an enclosed exterior foyer area with steps leading to the two bedrooms upstairs which have an exterior key lock and then there is another locked door with access to the main house and two more bedrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms are cooler as they have their own HVAC units. The downstairs bedrooms were hot as one room has it's own unit, but it blows out into the kitchen and the primary bedroom has vents that are partially partially blocked by a wall six inches above it. I would not like this house if I was traveling with young children. Some of the bedroom walls do not go down to the floor or up to the ceiling so they are not private or quiet as you can hear everyone in the family room from the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom also does not have blinds so it was impossible to keep dark in the morning. The other secondary bedroom has a large sliding door to the exterior, with sheer curtains on it which looks into a parking lot. My daughter was uncomfortable sleeping there as she felt that people could see into the room. We had paid to have the pool heated and were notified a few days before we checked in that it was broken and would not be repaired until the end of our trip. It was very disappointing as the reason that we rented this house was due to the heated pool. We did receive a refund of our pool heating fee halfway through our trip, but as of now I have still not received a response to my request for a partial refund as the pool was too cold to use except for the day that we used it after the heater was fixed. The backyard area is lovely and we saw quite a few iguanas. The house itself has plenty of supplies such as towels and the kitchen seemed to be well stocked if you wanted to cook. The washer and dryer worked well even though you had to go outside to use them. The showers are all very small. I did wish that there was a dresser in the primary bedroom so that you could unpack. The management company sends an email stating that you should check your portal for an entry code. I checked my portal and the code was not there so I called. The person who I spoke to said that I would get the code later. I finally received it when I emailed. This is a fabulous location, and worth the fee if the pool is usable.
