This tranquil and spacious retreat is steeped in history, featuring an original stone wall that runs the length of the 40-foot-long living and dining area, complete with a cozy propane fireplace. A newly renovated kitchen boasts a classic Viking stove, blending the best of modern convenience with old-world charm. With two full bathrooms and a powder room, this thoughtfully updated home offers the perfect balance of comfort and luxury.

Set on 20 acres of rolling pastures, gardens, and ponds, this property is a peaceful haven for nature lovers, bird and animal watchers, and anyone seeking solitude. Enjoy morning strolls on manicured lawns, sipping coffee in private Adirondack chair clusters, or fishing at the ¾-acre pond. Learn how to collect your breakfast eggs, and the language of the chickens and goats. For those seeking an active escape, the house has a ping pong table, and the property a fitness room with two Peloton bikes, infared sauna, yoga mats, and high-speed internet keeps you connected, and energized or unwind in the private saltwater hot tub on cooler evenings.

Guests can explore endless outdoor activities: meeting the farm animals, fishing, swimming or paddling across the pond in our rowboat; enjoy a game of bocce on the back lawn or challenge friends to a ping pong match. Spend evenings around the stone fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars.

For a truly unique experience, our Fitness Room off the stables offers the ideal space for yoga, workouts, an infrared sauna, or quiet reflection. Musicians are welcome to inquire about our private theater, a beloved space once alive with Broadway rehearsals. The barn's theater features a rare 9-foot Bösendorfer concert piano, lovingly preserved and occasionally used for rehearsals by professional musicians. The space can be rented for private events by special arrangement.

The farm is also home to friendly goats, chickens (fresh eggs daily!), and two adorable dogs, adding to the rustic charm. Our resident Irish Setter, a playful and gentle companion, may greet you with a bark of excitement, eager to play fetch or join you on a walk. An invisible fence ensures he stays away from the guest house, allowing you to relax in peace.

We are located just five minutes from the charming Village of Rhinebeck and the Omega Retreat Center. In town, you'll find an array of delightful shops, excellent dining, and historical attractions. The area offers everything from scenic hikes and local markets to cultural experiences at Bard College and nearby historical sites. Whether you’re enjoying a day by the pond, exploring the vibrant Hudson Valley, or simply soaking in the serene beauty of our farm, this is a retreat where unforgettable memories are made.

Please note: Gatherings or parties are not permitted without prior arrangement. Dogs are welcome with advance notice, and up to two are allowed per reservation. We provide doggie bags to keep our lawns clean for all guests. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house, and only registered guests are welcome to stay overnight.
