Hello Sophia, Thank you for your review. We greatly value guest feedback, and it is unfortunate that your stay did not meet your expectations. I would like to clarify a few points for the benefit of future guests. Before your arrival, you inquired about the security camera, and we informed you that there is ONE camera at the front of the property, which is listed for security purposes. Although you booked for one guest, prior to your arrival, there were six additional guests that arrived and entered the property. They carried drinks, food, and other party supplies. You did not arrive until nearly two hours later. Eventually, the number of your guests increased to approximately 30 individuals. In addition to the unannounced extended guest list, the following house rules were violated: Noise curfew violation – after 10 pm and again past midnight. Guest limit – booked for one, but there was an additional guest. Small family gatherings – maximum of 10 people allowed, but 30 people were present. Property damage – food was found on the furniture. Excessive trash – over 15 garbage bags filled with alcoholic beverages. Checkout procedure – the key was not left in the designated location, and almost none of the checkout instructions were followed. When we inquired about the key, your response was “Can my friend return it at the end of the week?” Checkout time – the departure was past the provided checkout time. As you can see, all the above house rules were clearly defined and stated before your booking. Additionally, there was a guest book in the home to reiterate the house rules. Despite friendly reminders in respect to our surrounding neighbors, these rules were not adhered to and violated. As hosts, we invest a vast amount of time and effort into creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience for our guests. Hence the title of our property "Sacramento Oasis." We sincerely hope that your future bookings will not experience similar concerns. Please remember to read, understand, and adhere to all booking house rules out of respect to your future hosts.
