Beautiful High End Home on the Mountain Top in Sugar Grove, NC

Enjoy luxury living in a private, gated community atop a 30-acre mountain with ALL paved access. With high end furnishings and breathtaking views, this custom home offers 4 private bedrooms (master King on main, master Queen upstairs) and partially enclosed loft with 2 twin beds and trundles. There are 3 and one-half bathrooms. With a hot tub, fire pit, pool table, ping pong table, WIFI, and an office, Sugar Hill has everything you need to enjoy this relaxing property. Located 20 minutes from Boone, shopping and Appalachian State University, in the quiet community of Sugar Grove, this luxury home is 25-30 minutes to 2 public golf courses and Watauga Lake, and a short drive to other High Country attractions. Just an 11-mile drive (23 minutes) from the home is Buckeye Recreation Center, a new workout and fitness center on the back side of Beech Mountain near Buckeye Lake and Beech Mountain Ski Resort.

Main Level: When you open the front door, the beautiful view is visible through the French doors to the deck on the other side of the living room. The living room has two-story peaked ceilings, comfortable leather and velveteen couch and chairs arranged around a stone wood burning fireplace with a TV mounted over the fireplace's natural log mantle.

Through a passageway is the well-appointed kitchen and dining area, with a table for 10 by another set of French doors leading to the deck. The well-stocked kitchen is ideal for cooking and entertaining and features expansive beveled-edge granite counters, stainless steel appliances including a quad-burner gas stove, 12-cup auto-drip coffee pot and a Keurig machine. The very spacious island is ideal for preparation and serving of your favorite meals.

Off the foyer is a den/office with a desk and WIFI access, perfect for those needing privacy to work remotely and doors to the deck; as well as a half bath with a granite vessel-style sink.

Off the great room is the large master suite. This bedroom has a King sized bed, a spacious walk in closet, and a spacious large bath with his/her vanities, a bidet, a jetted bathtub, and a separate tiled step in steam shower.

Upstairs: to the left of the landing, is a partially enclosed loft with a set of twig-style twin beds with twin trundles (sleeps up to 4 guests). This room overlooks the living area. There are three enclosed bedrooms on this level: a Queen suite (sleeps 2 guests) with a private bath with shower/tub near the loft area, and two bedrooms to the right of the landing. One bedroom (sleeps 2 guests) has a Queen bed, and the other has a King bed (sleeps 2 guests). Between these two bedrooms is a Jack & Jill bathroom with a granite top sink and a step-in shower with natural stone walls and basin.

Downstairs is a laundry room featuring a front end loading Samsung HE washer & dryer, plus a sink and a counter for folding. There is also a game room with a pool table, comfy seating, and a large TV.

Garage: A ping pong table with paddles and balls is located in the garage for guests to enjoy. An extra large dog crate is available for easy setup. 10-15-20 pound dumbbells and a mat are also available for those who want to exercise during their stay.

Outside: Step out onto the expansive deck on the main level of the home and soak in the panoramic year-round mountain views. The home is perched at the top of its own private mountain on 30 acres in a gated community, at an elevation of approximately 3200', so the breezes are always cool and refreshing on the deck. The sunken hot tub is the perfect place to soak away your cares and troubles, and when it's time for dinner, grill up a feast on the gas grill, built into a counter made on the deck with a small sink attached, right outside the kitchen door.

* This home is accessed by a steep paved road and driveway. It is
plowed in the winter, but chains and/or 4WD are strongly
recommended for stays during November-April.
* The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their
home remains safe. Cameras are turned off upon check-in. No
cameras are located inside the home.
* This home has more than 10 stairs to enter the main level.
* There is no land-line phone in this cabin. Cell phone coverage is not
guaranteed. The home has fiber WIFI.

This property was previously managed by a management company and had great reviews. When we took it over the reviews did not transfer. We are confident you will enjoy the property and your stay there.
