PELICAN LAKE is the destination lake in West Central MN and ND. Located just 45 minutes from Fargo and just about 3 hours from the Twin Cities. Pelican lake boasts crystal clear waters perfect for swimming and watersports. With many secluded bays you can always find a calm quiet bay to relax. Weekends in the summer will include both plenty of recreational boaters and activity on the 2 sandbars. While weekdays are the perfect time for quiet lazy days on the lake.

Rental Policy for Summerhaven on Pelican Lake
Welcome to Summerhaven on Pelican Lake! To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all guests and to respect our property and neighbors, we have established the following rental policies. By booking your stay, you agree to abide by these terms.
Occupancy Limit
• Maximum Guests: Summerhaven on Pelican Lake accommodates a maximum of 7 guests at any time, including adults, children, and infants. This limit is strictly enforced to ensure comfort, safety, and compliance with property regulations.
• Exceeding the maximum occupancy will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without refund and may incur additional fees.
No Parties or Events
• Party-Free Property: Parties, gatherings, or events exceeding the 7-guest occupancy limit are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, celebrations, reunions, or any activity that disrupts the peaceful enjoyment of the property or surrounding area.
• Any evidence of a party or unauthorized gathering (e.g., excessive noise, additional guests, or complaints from neighbors) will result in immediate eviction without refund and potential additional charges for damages or violations.
General Rules
• Quiet Hours: Please respect our neighbors by observing quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Excessive noise during these times may result in penalties or eviction.
• No Unauthorized Visitors: Only registered guests listed on the booking are permitted on the property. Visitors or additional unregistered guests are not allowed without prior written approval from the host.
• Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay. Please report any accidental damage promptly so we can address it appropriately.
• No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside Summerhaven on Pelican Lake. Evidence of smoking indoors will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee.
• Pets: No Pets allowed.
• Assumption of Risk and Liability: Guests acknowledge that use of Summerhaven on Pelican Lake and its amenities (e.g., furniture, appliances, outdoor areas, lake access) is at their own risk. The host is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or losses sustained by guests or their invitees during the stay, whether caused by misuse of the property, natural conditions, or other factors beyond the host’s control. Guests are encouraged to exercise caution and supervise children at all times, especially near the lake.
• Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-outs without approval may incur additional fees.
Enforcement
• Violation of the occupancy limit or no-party policy may result in immediate termination of your stay, forfeiture of your rental payment, and/or additional charges for damages or cleaning.
• We reserve the right to inspect the property or request verification of guest count if a violation is suspected.
Booking Confirmation
• By reserving Summerhaven on Pelican Lake, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to these policies. Please list all guests (including ages of children) at the time of booking to ensure compliance.
