Nice stay

This home is spacious and has everything needed for a family getaway. We were a group of two families and there was plenty of space for all of us. Very convenient that it was pet friendly. Having the appliances and full kitchen was nice. Nice location with shopping close enough. Neighborhood was quiet. Host communicated well.

Great everything

We had a person in the family that turned 90 years old. We visited the Edmond, Oklahoma area because it was near the birthday party. The location is excellent! The house is in an older safe neighborhood a block away from a college. The house was large enough for 5 adults and 2 children. It was a great visit and stay.

Nice cozy place

It was a nice location, host was very communicative after heat stopped working for a bit and had heaters for us. The one thing that could have been better was having pots and pans to cook. Didn’t really have any and we were hoping to have those handy for some meals.

NICE!

Well the stay was beautiful. We had a lovely time. Everything was roomy and comfortable. Probably the only thing we hated was leaving lol. But I highly recommend this. Also my irresponsible daughter left her earphones at the house and it was so easy to communicate and get a quick answer to retrieve them. Awesome place to stay

Would not rent again

We should have known not to expect much at this price. Windows so dirty you couldn’t see out. Carpet filthy. Fence partially down so wasn't secure for our dog. Although host was easy to reach, we disagree on the condition of the home.

Lori, sorry for your experience. It probably didn't help that you were trying to get out of 75% of your stay the day of arrival, before even seeing the house. I must defend our house/cleaner here. They do an amazing job, and the house is definitely not dirty. But thanks for the feedback. We're working on updates and repairs to the house as we speak and it will be better for guests in the future.

Home needs work and not well stocked.

We know the neighborhood where we picked our stay well and guessed the approximate age of any house in that area of Edmond. We were disappointed in the lack of updates done to the early 1970's home, including things like holes in the carpet, bedroom doors that wouldn't close, a leaking shower faucet, blinds that we couldn't open because the cords were non-existent, for example. But other things that needed improved for our stay were poor management of the property issues. This includes hair in our shower...that wasn't ours. Six total towels for a three night stay...we had to do laundry just to have enough towels for four of us. One hot pad in the kitchen. One partially used paper towel roll...with no refills. No hand soap in the kitchen. Trash cans so full when we got there we couldn't put our trash in the bin...and we noticed neighbor's trashcans out on checkout day, so if I hadn't put the trash cans out by the street...would have been overflowing for the next family. Dirty floors and carpet and garage...could go on, but need I??? Will be back visiting the area at least two more times in the next four months and will not be staying there again.

Roger, we are very sorry for your experience. We would have greatly appreciated you reaching out during your stay and we could have helped with many of your issues: 1. There are 15 extra clean towels in the hall closet. 2. There are 10 rolls of paper towels under the kitchen sink. 3. There are large bottles for hand soap re-fills under the kitchen sink. Also, our cleaner sends us pictures with floors vacuumed and mopped, so I'm confused on the remark of dirty floors. But we appreciate you letting us know of issues in the house like doors, curtain rods missing, etc., although we would have appreciated a private message of course, but we will take care of these issues right away so future guests don't share your frustrations. We aim to give guests a great experience, and we will do our best to constantly improve that experience. Kind Regards, Ross
