**Welcome to Laurel Log Lodge!
Nestled on the serene side of the Smokies, Laurel Log Lodge is a cozy, peaceful, and spacious cabin-style retreat for up to 14 guests. Located in the tranquil Laurel Valley gated community, our genuine log cabin is just minutes from the northwest entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park, Tuckaleechee Caverns, horseback riding, and river tubing. Newly available for overnight rentals, our cabin offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure, making it the ideal choice for bringing your family together.
**Arriving at Laurel Log Lodge
As you approach, a long concrete driveway welcomes you, providing ample space for up to 6 vehicles. There are no steep inclines or winding roads to access this cabin. Relax on our charming porch rockers and take in the expansive front yard—a perfect spot to unwind in peace.
**Main Floor
Step into our 3-level cabin and discover a spacious, rustic open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, perfectly designed for family gatherings. The kitchen is well-equipped for all your culinary needs and even includes a high chair for the little ones. The main floor extends to a deck ideal for outdoor dining, featuring a gas grill and two separate seating areas. The all-seasons room on this level seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, offering a bright, airy space that feels connected to nature while providing shelter from the elements. Both the upper deck and all-seasons room offer seasonal, stunning views of the 13th hole of the Wild Laurel Golf Course. The expansive master suite on this level features a king-size bed, a large smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower, plus additional access to the all-seasons room.
**Upper Level
Four additional spacious bedrooms await you upstairs. Three of these rooms feature queen beds, while one is equipped with two twin beds and a pack-and-play for the baby. Each bedroom also includes a flat-screen smart TV. Two full bathrooms are located on this floor, including the rustic “Man Cave” bathroom with live-edge countertops, a luxurious walk-in shower, and a large vanity. A full-size washer and dryer are conveniently located in one of the bathrooms.
**Lower Level
The lower level is where fun comes alive for kids and adults alike. Enjoy shuffleboard, board games, a TV, a queen-over-queen bunk bed, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette. Step outside to discover an oversized playset that promises hours of enjoyment for the kids. Parents can relax in the hot tub or lounge in a lawn chair, savoring the surrounding beauty.
**Outdoor Fun
The outdoor area is perfect for creating lasting memories. Enjoy a portable bonfire pit, basketball goal, and cornhole boards. Our cabin accommodates up to 14 guests, making it a wonderful venue for family gatherings. Fireplaces:
*On During: October 1st - April 1st
Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies, and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin, and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away, and unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
*There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.
