Sunset Haven Cottage

Welcome to "Sunset Haven”! A 2 bedroom, 1 bath picturesque lakefront cottage located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. This property features upper & lower decks, a relaxing 6-person hot tub, a private dock with a large sun deck, a 7ft waterslide, and 2 boat lifts. Fish off the dock, float on a tube (we can rent ours!), relax in the oversized hammock or enjoy a paddle in the 2 kayaks provided for use.

This 2 bedroom, 1 bath property can sleep up to 6 guests and has parking for 4 vehicles. It features upper and lower decks with panoramic views of the lake, a lower waterside patio area with a relaxing 6-person hot tub available for use year-round, a private dock with a large sun deck and a 7 ft waterslide,1 sling boat lift (2000lb max),1 cradle boat lift (4000lb max). Cast a line off the dock for some great fishing, float peacefully in an inflatable tube (we have 2 available for rental!), relax in the oversized hammock or enjoy a paddle around the lake in the 2 kayaks provided for use.

Take a step inside of “Sunset Haven” to find an immaculately clean, fully furnished, and comfortable living space. A fully stocked kitchen with seating for 6 and a spectacular open living area featuring panoramic views of the lake will take your breath away as you enter. This area contains a SMART TV, a queen size sleeper sofa, a queen size futon, and a wood stove for use in colder months. This property is wheelchair friendly as the 4-ft sliding glass door leads into the open living space from the ground-level deck. Continue on to find a newly remodeled bathroom and 2 bedrooms with sleeping arrangements as follows:

Pillows, sheets, towels, and other linens are provided for your convenience. Heating and air conditioning are provided throughout for comfort in all seasons. This property is equipped with cellular service, 100mbps+ high speed internet & Wi-Fi, and a SMART TV/DIRECTV. Strictly no smoking. Pets are allowed with an additional $200 pet fee which covers up to 2 pets. Please say yes to the pet option when making the reservation so you are charged correctly. Due to high demand, there is a strict no refund policy on any bookings that include a local event or holiday weekend.

Situated on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, less than a mile from NY Long Point State Park, this comfortable, fully furnished and equipped two-bedroom cottage can be yours to enjoy.

Sit back and enjoy your favorite beverage from the cozy living room, in the year-round 6-person hot tub on the large lower deck just a few feet from the water or while roasting marshmallows at the firepit.

Guests will have access to the entire property.

A car is recommended to be able to fully explore the area

The shoreline and lake floor is rocky/slippery. We recommend bringing/wearing water shoes for safety.

Please note that the advertised nightly rate is based on a total of up to 4 guests. While we welcome up to 6 guests at this property, additional fees will apply beyond the count of 4. Come prepared to enjoy every day. Get up early to see the change in the color of the hills across the lake as the sun rises or watch an afternoon storm roll down the lake leaving the air clean and fresh. Enjoy the lake breeze and the sound of waves lapping against the dock. Fish off the end of the dock in one of the best fishing spots on the lake or enjoy a paddle around the lake in a kayak. Be amazed at the spectacular sunset at the end of the day. Roast marshmallows around the firepit.

There is plenty to see and do! Whatever you choose, we are sure that you will have a fabulous time at “Sunset Haven”!
We expect guests to respect our home as if it was their own. We also require that the house is left in the condition it was when you arrived.

$200 pet fee covers up to two pets. If you have more, please let us know before reserving.


Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Additionally, you will be asked to choose between a damage deposit or a damage waiver. Pet damage is not covered by this policy. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.
