This place is gorg!! Very old school log cabin! The house creaks with fluctuation in temperature, which is actually quite charming! The host was easily reachable via the messaging, check-in was clear! This house is absolutely gorgeous. The tub does not currently work.

Nice eclectic cabin in a wonderfully peaceful neighborhood. Could have been a little better stocked with soap and shampoo. Just one bathroom had soap and shampoo.

Disappointing that the dishwasher and hot tub didn't work, which we were never notified of. Most windows didn't lock and the front door lock battery failed so we were almost locked out after going for a walk. Property and house need maintenance.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, eclectic cabin in Julian. The space had so much character and charm, and it was a unique and cozy place to spend time. That said, there are a few areas that could use some attention. The cabin could use a more thorough cleaning, as we noticed cobwebs throughout the space, mouse droppings in the kitchen, and hair in the sink drains. The lighting was also a little tricky to navigate with all of the different switches. Unfortunately the downstairs bathroom outside of the primary sink was not draining properly maybe due to the hair. Overall, the cabin has a lot of potential and is a lovely, distinctive getaway. With a little more attention to cleaning and some clearer lighting controls, it would make an even better experience for guests.

Our second stay at this beautiful cabin. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, close to town. The porch swing and the quiet of the location will keep us coming back. A/C works so well on the hot days, cooking in the kitchen is lovely and it's just the perfect getaway.

The cabin itself is charming, quaint, and has a cozy, homey country feel. It has a lot of character and potential, and I can see why someone would enjoy staying here.Unfortunately, the cleanliness and upkeep were a major disappointment. For a property charging around 400 a night plus a 150 cleaning fee, I expected it to be clean and reasonably well maintained. The floors were visibly dirty, and the counters, chairs, and other surfaces felt grimy and sticky. The kitchen cabinets were particularly dirty, and it didn’t appear that the floors had been properly cleaned. The condition actually made me question whether the linens had been cleaned, so I washed the sheets myself when we arrived. The washing machine was also dirty and had visible mold. There were several areas of the property that looked rundown and needed attention. I can overlook cobwebs, critters, and even a mouse or two because those can come with staying in a country cabin. I’m from the country, and rustic does not have to mean dirty.Overall, this place has great potential. With a thorough deep cleaning and better maintenance, it could be a really wonderful cabin and much more deserving of the price.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was the perfect place to slow down and truly enjoy time together. My aunt, uncle, and I spent our days playing music, talking for hours, and simply soaking in the peaceful setting. The cabin was comfortable, inviting, and exactly what we needed for a restful getaway. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and it felt like a place where memories are meant to be made.Thank you for sharing such a special space.
