The house was good, but probably would not stay here again. The traffic noise from I-70 was off-putting; my fault for not Googling the location better. Communication was confused a bit since the owner was out of the country at the time. Took a while to get responses. Once the owner informed me of the property manager contact, it was up to me to let them know what needed to be fixed at the house. I don't think it's my responsibility to make sure the house is up to par before I get there. The good: location was good for bus stops to the village, access to hiking, plenty of room for everyone, kitchen was great (except for the things not working), plenty of seating, big dining table for eating/cards/games.The not-so-good: The photo of the house actually shows 2 units; you don't get the whole property that is represented in the photo, parking says it can hold 4 cars (I can't imagine how), there is no garage parking (an issue in the winter time), the refrigerator had a broken drawer, the separate bar ice maker was frozen up and didn't work, one bedroom had window blinds that didn't close, the bar stools fabric was pretty dirty- needs a good cleaning, but everything else was clean. The elevator didn't work for us but not a big deal because we didn't need it, just letting you know. Overall, might be acceptable for someone needing a big space, but we wanted to sit on the patio and have a conversation as a group but it was too loud.
