We had a large group for an extended girl's trip. We enjoyed exploring Charlestown, and loved the proximity to Little Italy. I would return if we decided to come back to Boston.

This is the best, most charming, and single most memorable place I have ever stayed. The host was fantastic and also, one of the top 2 or 3 communicators I think I’ve ever experienced in my career. Truly an experience I will never forget. That house is a family heirloom unlike anything I’ve stayed in! What an absolute dream. And the location is great. The streets! The nearby garden! Everything was peaceful. Serene. And in a word… perfection. Thank you a million to the host for protecting its magic.

Few days in Boston

The home was exactly as described and perfectly located for a family to enjoy exploring the city. Parking though was very difficult during the week and I would suggest leaving your car at home.

Absolutely beautiful home in the perfect location. We were able to walk to most of the sites. I would give this home 5 stars with the exception of 2 things. First, the dishwasher was still full, and the bedding for the upstairs bedrooms was still in the washer and dryer when we checked in. Second, it was difficult to get ahold of the host. Text messages and VRBO messages took days to get a response. These are my only complaints and they can be explained away by life happens. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Boston needing 4 bedrooms. You can’t beat the home or location.

Hi Maurice, Thank you for your feedback, and apologies for the delay in my responses. It was a hectic time, but we did connect on the important things and I am so very happy that you enjoyed your stay! Sometimes the cleaners are short on time if there are back to back renters and occasionally leave some towels in the dryer. Please come back, we would love to have you!!

Thanks Kevin for your review and, I am happy that you were able to enjoy the walk ability of the neighborhood! It’s quite a lovely walk to the North End for dinner or to the TD Garden for a game or concert, and of course very easy to access any of the amazing Charlestown restaurants. I’d welcome you back anytime!

The location couldn’t be better. Beautiful neighborhood community with quaint local restaurants and coffee shops and a surprising number of locals pushing strollers or out walking dogs. Only a 30 minute walk to downtown and famous historic sites or a quick 10 minute UBER ride. The residence was very nice! It is registered with the historical Society and they kept many of the older features with some modern upgrades. We will definitely be staying here during our next trip to Boston!

Graduation week

We had a very busy week so it was wonderful to have a place to stay that was comfortable and quiet. Great spot to see Boston or Cambridge and return. Owner is very responsive. The VRBO is clean and everything works. Beds are comfortable and showers have excellent pressure and ample hot water. We’d stay here again!
