Ich muss den friedlichen und ruhigen Aspekt dieses Anwesens betonen, da der Lärm leicht über Wasser übertragen werden kann und ich fordere, dass die Nachbarn geachtet werden. Dieses rustikale Haus befindet sich auf einem privaten Grundstück, nur 800 m von Rt One entfernt, am Ende einer unbefestigten Straße. Das Dekor ist vielseitig, aber komfortabel - nichts Besonderes. Eine kurze Treppe führt zum felsigen Ufer. Drei private Schlafzimmer (eines im Erdgeschoss) und ein 4. Zimmer im Obergeschoss verbinden die beiden Schlafzimmer. Es gibt 2 Bäder (eins mit Wanne) plus 1/2 Bad. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und eine abgeschirmte Veranda bietet einen wunderbaren, sich ständig ändernden Blick auf die Penobscot Bay.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! We have been to Maine several times but were always in hotels and moving every night. It was refreshing to have a HOME base and after a week I can attest to this place felt like home. The property is indeed quiet and secluded but not too far from groceries and supplies. I loved how well the kitchen was stocked with pretty much any appliance that might be needed with plenty of room for more than one cook!We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio and evening wine on the dock. Communications were always timely and check-in and out was painless! It was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend this home to any family and hope we can return soon!

We had a great time at this property in Stockton Springs. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back porch and enjoying the beautiful weather. There is plenty to do and many wonderful restaurants in the vicinity. Communication was great and Kate is a lovely host.

Picturesque and Serene

The property is well off the road at the tip of a lovely cove. It is very quiet, with a large yard and beautiful views of the bay. The cottage is very well appointed and the screened in porch is the perfect place to read or chat on a bright sunny day. We loved our stay there.

This is our 6th stay at this wonderful cottage! It is perfectly maintained for our 3 generation family and the view of the ocean is just beautiful! Wonderful property

We spent four weeks here and had a wonderfully relaxed time. The house is very comfortable, well furnished, and the kitchen well equipped. But the highlight for us was the screened in porch. Never too hot or too cold, no bugs, and a great view of the water.

What a comfortable house

First trip to Maine

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very comfortable , well stocked with essentials and well maintained. Gary was gracious to greet us and available if needed. Be sure to check out the red notebook for local information. Our first trip to main, so it was helpful finding things to see and do. Highly recommend Anglar's restaurant.

This is a home!

From our first visit in 2017, we knew the house was someone's home. It has become our July (for a few weeks) home. Everything we could want is there. Everything we need is there--quiet, beauty, space to be alone, space to gather everyone. There is even room for fairies in the garden.

Magnificent place to stay!

We loved this place for our second visit! The place has everything you could possibly need and the large screened in porch is heavenly to watch nature and the ocean. Part of our party love fishing and they had great success! Caught fish that aren’t even supposed to be in the bay! The grandkids love playing in the ocean! So many great places to visit and eat at nearby!

Maine Beauty

We absolutely found the best of Maine in this home located on Penobscot Bay. We had everything we needed from the well equipped kitchen to the outdoor furniture for sitting and enjoying the views. This home is centrally located along the coast allowing us to do day trips down to Boothbay Harbor or up to Acadia National Park. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the best Maine has to offer!
