Located in Homosassa, this adorable house offers 3 bedrooms - one with a queen bed, and both other rooms with double beds. The master bedroom has a brand new Simmons Beauty Rest mattress. With amenities like heat, AC, washer and dryer, and Wi-Fi, 55" HD tv guests can relax in the cozy living room with dual electric recliners and 2 manual recliners. Both bathrooms feature a bathtub for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring. Better yet, this vacation offers a Jacuzzi tub with a small bar for a soak and a drink. Escape to this serene retreat and make unforgettable memories with your loved ones. It's located a few minutes away from the Homosassa Wildlife Park and Crystal River's several natural springs which are great place to cool off and swim with the manatees on a hot summer day. Hurricane stay

We needed a place to evacuate to during hurricane Helene. Owner was extremely accommodating even when we needed to extend our stay.

Spacious Retreat

The spacious open floor plan (meant for a wheelchair) gave ample space for x-tra large dog beds & lotz of space for walking a big dog. Super pet friendly!!! The property was beautifully maintained! The home was very clean & neat & nicely decorated. Great place for a handicapped person with a service dog ! Our standard poodle, Mocha Latte’, had never even seen a ramp before, but mastered it by the end of our visit! We all had a wonderfully “pleasant”stay!!!

Big country house

WE are older snow birds so weigh these comments with that in mind. Older double wide on 5 acrres, first impression was not what we expect from pictures and on line description. The home sits about 400 feet back from the road & the front yard is a field of scattered trees and native grasses.The frontage along the road was unkept with partial fencing and scattered brush clumps. Owner was accommodaring. Master queen bed room was not pictured in listing. Bed had no box spring it was uncomfortable and was very low to floor. When we requested some fixes, owner stated that she was aware of the bed and would fix the situation. She brought a box spring which helped. She replaced the sofa bed in the living room with several Lounge chairs, which was an improvement. We added a lamp and an end table. (ONLY ceiling lights in the house) Other two bedrooms were un used. Kitchen was okay. Cable TV in all bedrooms, No local programs available , we used HULU to get sports and local channels. The Hot tub had no water heater, cold in winter, probably ok for summer use. The owner is new to the VRBO scene and is learning the rental game.

This guest clearly had very high expectations that were not met. My listing is exactly as pictured and described in the many photos I have provided. I do not promote it to be upscale. There is partial fencing out front which is part of the reason why I gave this guest a $4,000.00 discount on the original price when they inquired about my rental. The master queen bedroom is exactly as described and pictured in my listing both then and currently. The only difference is the newer boxspring mattress which this guest requested and I accommodated during thier stay. I was told by a few renters that the queen bed wasn't very comfortable due to it's firmness. Other renters loved it and the fact that it is low to the ground. The sleeper sofa was replaced. I replaced it with a newer, 4 recliner sofa COUCH (2 electric, 2 manual) not lounge chairs as this guest stated. Local programs were available. I am sorry that this guest did not have the technological savvy necessary to utilize it. If guest would have asked for help I again would have accommodated them. Guest told me that they would use their Hulu account days before their stay ended because I advised them that I would be removing the local cable due to lack of use. I offered to help them with their Hulu account because they weren't sure how to use that either. The hot tub does not get hot. This is VERY clearly stated in my listing for all to see. The heating element is out.
