Located in West Plains, Missouri outside of town in a peaceful & relaxing setting. This comfortable brick home boasts 3 cozy bedrooms - the master has safari-inspired decor and a super comfortable adjustable bed (queen). A second bedroom (queen bed) has cottage-inspired decor with cozy quilt and private bathroom, and the "adventure room" has two comfortable twin beds with cabin & wildlife decor. The beds have luxury cotton sheets that envelope you in soft, comfy relaxation. Each has a comforter or quilt to keep you warm in the chilly weather! The two full bathrooms are equipped with plush towels, and the essentials. An extra attraction is the game room, complete with air hockey, foosball table, puzzles and games. It's rustic cowboy decor adds a fun country charm and the leather sofa in gameroom is also a full sized hideabed, adding additional sleeping space if needed. A pack n play crib and highchair are available to make the young ones comfortable & safe (please request Pack n Play crib. Highchair is there). Many amenities like a wonderfully equipped kitchen with beverage/wine refrigerator in addition to the full sized refrigerator, laundry room with washing machine & dryer, an iron, blow dryer, etc ensure a comfortable stay. But the true beauty and charm of this property is the relaxing outdoor experience! An expansive covered rear deck boasts a patio set, porch swing, barbecue grill, and cozy fire pit with andirondak chairs. It looks out on a serene woodland view. We maintain a bird feeder to attract our feathered friends, for your enjoyment and their extra meals! On the large groomed lawn a second fire pit (this one uses real wood, and one bundle is provided for a fire session) offers another spot to kick back and enjoy the country relaxation and beautiful starry nights. A child swing and comfortable hammock round out the outdoor experience! We also offer a stop-over for horse folks. We have four stalls in a barn and can arrange for hay if needed. Turnout area possible. Need to make prior arrangements with us, please. This area abounds in natural beauty. It is a short drive to areas of the Mark Twain National Forest where you can horseback ride, hike, explore. Canoe, kayaking and swimming on the North Fork of the White River Recreation Area is a short distance away (about 10 miles). There you'll also find an easy walk to the beautiful blue spring , providing a fun quick outing to enjoy nature. There are many historic mills in the area, including Hodgson Mill, Rockbridge Trout Farm, Dawt Mill, Alley Springs and more. We provide you with some information about the area and suggestions to make your stay memorable.
