Angela, Thank you for your great review despite the issues you incurred while staying in this property. We took your review to the owner regarding the issue with the blinds in the master. They chose and we agreed to switch from blinds to blackout drapery panels. They look nice and offer an easier option for guests to access the balcony. We used to provide bathmats in each property however because they are thicker, they became a great mat for guests vehicles to take their packed coolers home. We do provide them for guests that request them and would've happily delivered some to your door had we known it would make your stay more enjoyable. We do not require our owners to provide hair dryers but some do as a courtesy or a convenience for guests. We do our best to keep each listing up to date with appliances that are provided in each unit and apologize if we left out this important detail. Donnie, We are saddened by your negative review, expecially since you didn't communicate any of this to us during your stay. We hate you were looking forward to using the onsite gym facility, however we do mention in our rental agreement that we have no control regarding any amenity on site, or the lack of any amenity. These are items beyond our control, however if you were unhappy with the cleanliness of the unit, we should've been contacted upon your arrival. We would've happily assisted you with getting each item mentioned handled promptly to make your stay all that it should be. Anonymous, Ocean House increased their parking pass fee this year after finding out they had to lease an empty lot across the street for overflow. This year we have had unlimited amounts of guests in each unit and this has caused parking to be a nightmare. We are so sorry you dealt with these issues first hand but this situation is completely out of our control. We can only disclose to you the parking pass fee and you have the choice on whether or not you pay it. The internet service is also provided by the association and this too is information provided in the listing. Most vacation rentals are set up for residential/recreational service for internet and not for business use. I always tell guests that must work during their vacation to plan accordingly by using a hotspot or separate, secure connection. Carrie, Thank you for your 4 star review, despite the issues that affected your stay in this awesome property. We are so sorry to find out you only had 4 towels per bathroom, and not what was explained in the arrival details. I double checked to make sure you were not charged for the missing items and confirmed you were not. We had maintenance address the towel bars. They are repaired and confidently in place as they should be. We are so very sorry for them not being in place or as they should've been during your stay. We do supply a "start-up" of items, such as a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, a roll of paper towels, single use laundry and dishwasher detergent. The items supplied are detailed in the arrival information to inform each guest, so they can plan and prepare accordingly. We are sorry, but coffee filters are not provided. Parking passes are a requirement of the association, and the ability to obtain them from the guard on site is completely beyond our control. They patrol frequently to ensure the safety of guests and owners on site, and have a phone number posted on the guard shack door so they can be reached when needed. As for the arrival information; we referred back to the information provided to guests and it honestly cannot be more clear about the location of this unit, or how to access it. We are terribly sorry you had a hard time upon arrival but hope that despite all you mentioned, you were able to enjoy the gorgeous, beach front views this unit provides, as well as make memories to last a lifetime!
