Das Ferienhaus ist eine elegante, denkmalgeschützte Landvilla auf über 1,2 Hektar an großen, privaten Gärten mit Tennisplatz von voller Größe. Das Anwesen grenzt an den Fluss Nar. Das Ferienhaus wurde kürzlich aufwendig renoviert und bietet einen luxuriösen Ort für große Gruppen mit bis 14 Personen. (Für Wochenendaufenthalte gibt es eine Matratze – Platz für bis 16 Gäste.) Der älteste Teil des Hauses stammt aus der Zeit von Königin Anne. Er wurde kürzlich renoviert und verfügt über jeden modernen Komfort. Zwei der Empfangsräume bieten einen idealen Entspannungsbereich für Erwachsene, während der Unterhaltungsraum zum Fernsehen oder Videos schauen mit der modernen Kinoanlage für die ganze Familie konzipiert wurde. Zusammen mit dem gut ausgestatteten Spielzimmer gibt es eine Fülle von Freizeitaktivitäten. Die große Küche ist ideal für gemütliches Zusammenkommen, während das formale Esszimmer die perfekte Umgebung für festliche Mahlzeiten in komfortabler, luxuriöser Atmosphäre bietet.

heck in was fine we were allowed in early as we had two babies, information given at check in very precise and detailed. Property very clean garden lovely. Kitchen facilities were good cooker hob took a little getting use to but cooked well and we had several large dinners and also barbecue was good we cant fault anything The only disappointment we had was we left 2 very large china dishes and one le creuset dish behind

2nd visit...amazing

This was our 2nd year to Grange Manor and it never fails to disappoint us. We all (20) of us had a fantastic time, the house itself is amazing as are the grounds. We used the main dining room this year for a "Bridgerton's Breakfast" it really does set the scene! There is plenty of cookware, glasses, mugs, storage, garden seating, garden games and a BBQ that we took full advantage of with having beautiful weather.Thank you so much Gerry and staff...unfortunately we are unable to return in 2026, 2027 we shall be back (if you will have us!?)

We had a wonderful time!

We had an incredible stay celebrating my 30th birthday with friends. The house was even better than expected and had everything we could need. Communication with the hosts was easy and always speedy. There were lots of games to play on site, and with the weather being lovely we were able to make the most of the tennis and even a rounders set that was provided. Would recommend to anyone!

Good location, was not as secluded as I thought with house backing on so we were more mindful of noise from our party. Lots of breakables so would not travel with little children but great for a getaway with friends Checkin was fab and lady who showed us around was very thorough. Excellent property. So much space and grounds. Really well equipped with everything you need and plenty of parking spaces for our group. Main dining room was lovely. Really enjoyed our time in what is a very large house.

Family celebration

A lovely, spacious property in a great location for a fabulous celebration of birthdays. Very good communication between hosts and housekeepers who were on hand to greet us, explain everything and to fix any problems should they arise. Everything thoughtfully prepared for our stay and all bases covered from a well equipped kitchen to a fabulous play area in ample grounds for the children. Our dogs were well accommodated too and having the boot room for drying them off and taking muddy wellies off was a boon. With the gorgeous weather, our weekend was truly memorable. Thank you.

Beautiful house

We had a fabulous weekend at The Grange, the house is beautiful, well equipped for large groups/families and has plenty of space. There are lots of bathrooms, mirrors, lovely thick bath towels, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens plus the Aga. Lots of thoughtful touches for a large party. There is a great games room - only thing to note is that it’s on the first floor so not really part of the main living / communal areas downstairs. We loved our weekend away and would definitely return, thank you!!

Great Stay!

Great property, no one to do reviews whether good or bad, but this was exactly as presented, the welcoming manager was great, took the time to explain everything to us. We were 3 families with kids (13 in all), we truly enjoyed the property and we were not wanting for anything! Highly recommended!

Special birthday celebrations with all the family

The house is wonderful for a large family celebration- masses of room - everything you could need for catering for a large group, and all the entertainment you could possibly need, with the games room, the fabulous garden with children’s play area, tennis court and a garden store with all the games - we made the most of everything and everyone enjoyed themselves. My first impressions the property is close to the main road, personally we felt it was over cluttered with ornaments which we were terrified the children might break so the thought of birthday balloons was abandoned- photos of the property show far less ‘object d’art’! Disappointing the grand piano was not tuned. We think this is fair comment and does not detract from a great time had by all.

A great place for a group celebration - very roomy, comfortable and well furnished and equipped, with huge gardens. The only very slight downside is some road noise but the secondary glazing blocked it out effectively. Dawn the property manager and Mick were instantly responsive to any small issues we encountered.

So much space!

We arrived on Friday afternoon and easily found the property thanks to accurate directions. Everything was as described and, as we had been required to detail all sleeping arrangements in advance, everyone settled in quickly. The fact that there had been a miscommunication between owner and manager leading to one bed too few was easily rectified as the manager and his wife are just next door. The children especially enjoyed the outdoor space. Bedrooms were, mostly, comfortable and a good size for parents sharing with their children. The kitchen/dining areas just about fitted 23 of us (we didn’t use the formal dining room with 8 children aged 11 and under!) and the living room areas were perfect for us. We had a good weekend together, thanks!

House was spotless and provided everything we needed. The gardens are amazing and the children’s play area was a great surprise. Good location - less than 10 minutes to the shops and 30 mins to the beach. Thoroughly recommend.

We had an amazing time at the Manor House! We were in awe at how vast the house was and how amazing all the rooms were! The gardens were amazing and there was a massive play area which my nieces loved. All in all had the best weekend!

Large house with a huge kitchen double ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 large firdge/freezers to ensure the home cooking is ambitious in scale and manageable in practice. We also have a large dedicated dining room for the "occasion" dinner as well as 2 large breakfast tables and seating in the kitchen for casual eating and get togethers. With 3 living room areas one with projector TV, one with a library and one with an open log fire and piano there is a room for all moods and tastes. 8 bathrooms with showers and baths makes for a pleasant morning or evening experience and not too many arguments over toothbrushes. Did we mention the games room and the 3 acres of grounds with a tennis court.
