The property is excellent and clean, the kitchen is stocked with the necessary utensils; it is also close to the beach and markets. My only recommendation is to improve the patio lighting, as the lights don't come on until nightfall and the illumination isn't sufficient. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Great set up and just as advertised. Thought the neighborhood could be a little sketchy but actually a central location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Extremely clean and awesome pool and putting green.

Well thought out property. The outdoor area was fantastic with the putting green, large pool with splash pad and deep end seating, lighted pergola and umbrellas. Fully fenced-in backyard was very dog friendly. Our pooch chased lizards for hours. Both kitchens had necessary items for cooking, all appliances worked well. The location of the house was near many restaurants and stores with Siesta Beach just 20 minutes away. Thanks for sharing this unique property with us.

Perfect Family Holiday

Two separate cottages with well laid out pool area. Perfect for family gathering. Great location, close to beaches, downtown, and shopping while fenced in landscaping felt like our own private space.

X-mas at Twin Palms

Overall great stay. Nice houses...recently remodeled/refinished. Nice pool.... Only slight issue was for people in House #2, the pool 'gurgled' somewhat loudly at night right outside the bedrooms. But....overall we had a great time over the week of Christmas. Close to lots of good seafood and Siesta Key. Neighborhood lacks sidewalks but also not a huge issue.

Great location. Nonresponsive owner.

Check in was not convenient. Owner would not release the address until 8 hours or so before check-in. Check in code did not work for thirty minutes after check in. Refrigerator in one of the houses did not work. Microwave in one of the houses did not work. Would not stay there again.

Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing and far below what was represented in the listing. The problems began before we even entered the home, as the check-in code provided by the host was incorrect. Once we finally gained access, we found hundreds of dead bugs throughout the property. The condition of the home was unacceptable, especially considering the amount paid for the stay. We immediately contacted the host and were told a cleaner was on the way. We then spent approximately three hours waiting for assistance while repeatedly being told the cleaner was delayed due to Sarasota traffic. During that time, we missed dinner plans, were unable to properly settle into the home, and local grocery stores closed before we could purchase food for our stay. A significant portion of our vacation was spent dealing with problems that should have been addressed before guests arrived. Perhaps most concerning, the property manager later admitted that no one had inspected the home prior to our arrival to ensure it was clean, maintained, and ready for guests. When the cleaner finally arrived, she informed us that she did not actually work for the company managing the property and had simply been asked to come with a vacuum to clean up the bug problem. This directly contradicted what we had been told multiple times by the host, who repeatedly represented her as a member of their team. Despite the circumstances, we tipped the cleaner out of our own pocket bc she did try.
