Vacation in paradise

We had a fantastic stay at the Out of the Blue property! Our family had a wonderful and unforgettable experience. The property was beautiful, with it being located right on the ocean. Due to the location, we were able to dive for seashells and enjoy the beach every day. The entire staff was very friendly, and they made us feel right at home! We were particularly impressed with the delicious food, drinks, and the upkeep of our rooms! I highly recommend this beautiful destination to other travelers.

Very quiet, maintained very well and the staff Ms. Bev, Donna and Randy were absolutely perfect. They were accommodating without being noticed. The masseuse was awesome. The fishing trip is for the hearty. Local wooden boats with no creature comforts. The beach is almost vacant. I think there were a total of 9 people on the beach all week. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I highly recommend Ranny the driver. We will be coming back.

Tranquility at its best!

Trip of a lifetime

We went to Out of the Blue for a second time with a group of 8 friends. It was fantastic! The staff were amazing and made our stay truly special. The food was amazing. It was great to try so many Jamaican dishes. The house is so comfortable and relaxing and just steps to a fantastic quiet beach. We were sad to leave. We hope to return again soon.

Our group of 8 adults were looking for a total relaxation vacation and we got it with staying at this villa. An absolute wonderful and beautiful home with amazingly attentive staff members that made the most delicious food. Randy was wonderful and checked on us regularly and always offered to make us a drink to help us continue our relaxation vacation. Highly recommend this villa for an amazing vacation!

The staff was amazing! I couldn’t ask for a better since of family with Randy and Bev, both were very friendly and accommodating! Donna was very nice as well, just quieter. Amazing property and amazing stay.

I loved everything about this home. The other reviews speak about all of the positives, so I’m not going to rehash those. Just know that the beach is great. The pool is great. The rooms are great. The staff is wonderful. The food was phenomenal. It was one of the most relaxing stays that I have ever had. If you want some negatives, I’ll give you two - there were a lot of bugs (welcome to a tropical island) and the road to get there was pretty trash (welcome to Jamaica). These were really minor blips in an otherwise amazing stay.

Authentic Jamaica

We love Jamaica. So, I booked this villa for my husband's birthday because I knew we would have a real experience. It's owned by locals and run by locals, which is important to me. When we arrived, we were greeted by the entire staff and they said "Welcome Home". I was suffering from motion sickness and the staff immediately escorted me to my room, turned on the ac, even made me tea. So attentive. The staff took care of our every need. They were warm, inviting and a pleasure to be around. Very nice people. We ate amazing authentic Jamaican food. The villa, views, ocean, wildlife, fresh seafood and general vibe was so awesome. Thank you to Ms. Bev, Randy, Ms. Donna, Phillip and the security guards. The only thing I could complain about is the mosquitoes! They ate us alive lol.

Happy Place

I never write reviews but had to on this property. Ok so negatives, property is far from airport and roads are bad. Its Jamaica though so that was expected. We had some rainy days so the mosquitoes were brutal on those days, bring some good repellent. Now for all the positives, as there are many. House is clean,, plenty of room for our family of five, decor and design is absolutely beautiful, pictures does not do the house justice and the beach was magical. It was beach, pool,relax and repeat every day of our stay. We also ventured out every day to different places as well like Negril's seven mile beach, Black River, YS Falls and Lovers Leap. These were fun little adventures. Watching the stars from beach or pool at the villa is a must! With all that being said, the most amazing part of our stay was the staff! I shouldn't even call them staff because by the end of our stay they were like family. Our chef Miss Bev's dishes were delicious! Her warm nature was welcoming and her smile infectious. Randy went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and made us feel very comfortable. He also taught us a new fun game we never played before. Miss Donna was quiet but very kind and was busy in the background making our stay very comfortable . The rest of the staff was there to take care of us and watch over the house. We always felt very safe. Special thank you to the entire staff for everything! We hope to stay at this amazing villa the next time we visit Jamaica

Unwind and Recharge in Paradise

We have been to Jamaica 20+ times and stayed all over the island. This was out 2nd stay on the south coast; the 1st was on an all-inclusive resort. We've stayed in a number of villas during our travels to Jamaica and this one bets them all. The pictures of Out of the Blue villa on vrbo are EXACTLY what it looks like in person. The "public" beach - I say public because it is technically a public beach - is really a private beach. It's sandy all along the shoreline for walking and the ocean floor is all sand too. The staff was amazing and found outstanding. They were available when needed but gave us our space. Miss Bev's fried chicken and coleslaw are out of this world. We are huge fans of the local food and Miss Bev did not disappoint. The property manager connected us with a local driver who has worked with the property for some time which was appreciated. We thought we might do a couple of offsite excursions but we honestly didn't want to leave. There are games, ping pong, TV, books, internet available for guests. This is definitely not the hip strip in Mo Bay so if that's your vibe, then the south coast is not for you. If you're truly looking to unplug and reconnect with family and friends, there is no better place. We cannot wait to go back.

Outstanding trip! Very secluded. If you were looking for peace and tranquility this is the place. It is off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. The staff was outstanding ! The house was perfect! Probably the best beach in Jamaica.

We have enjoyed this beach for many years, having wonderful family times here. We built the villa with family holidays in mind, and wish to introduce others to this beautiful and unique part of the world. Unlike so many Villas in the area, we do not charge up front for a staff gratuity (tips are completely discretionary for guests) and additional services such as grocery shopping and laundry are provided free-of-charge to guests. Our staff are there to ensure you don't have to lift a finger and are pampered from the minute you arrive.

It's a wonderful peaceful fishing village, with the best beach and best swimming on the South Coast. A great place to go with friends and family alike, to spend quality time, play games, swim, relax and just be together.
