Nestled on the shores of a picturesque lake, our spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom haven is the perfect getaway for those seeking both comfort and natural beauty. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious king bed, while the second bedroom offers two queen beds, and the third bedroom features a queen bed, ensuring a good night's sleep for all. Wonderful long weekend

We really enjoyed our time by the lake. The house was beautiful and had lots of space. We had a great time kayaking on the lake and making s’mores by the fire. Lovely area with hiking, biking and restaurants within a short drive. Communication was great. Hoping to come back for another adventure.

Absolute Lakefront Perfection

This stunning lakefront property was nothing short of perfection! The house was beautiful with incredibly comfortable beds, and the sun room and deck offered breathtaking lake views. The outdoor space and direct lake access were incredible. We loved having our own private slice of lakefront paradise and even enjoyed the local beach. Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return to this slice of heaven in Copake!

I took my children and 3 grandchildren to Julien and Susie's home in Copake for a few days getaway. The accommodations exceeded our expectations in regard to cleanliness, comfort and a well stocked home with all the amenities one needs. Toys ,ping pong ,gym we're all in excellent shape. Bedding and linens in immaculate condition. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thank you very much for sharing your home with us.

A Cozy and Thoughtful Stay Near Catamount Mountain

We stayed at this charming house during Presidents’ Day weekend and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The property is beautifully decorated, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It truly had everything we needed to feel right at home, from comfortable furnishings to a well-equipped kitchen.The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, leaving us a delightful basket of treats that we absolutely adored—especially the Spanish tortas, which were delicious! Their attention to detail and hospitality made our stay extra special.The location of the house is fantastic, being close to Catamount Mountain, which made it super convenient for our activities.Overall, we loved our time here and are already looking forward to returning in the summer to explore even more (the lake access is so convenient!). This is definitely a place we will return to, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely and comfortable stay.

A women's group of 5 friends rented this lovely home last week. We have never been to this part of New York and we looked forward to the relaxation the house afforded. The house was lovely, decorated in whites and beige throughout. The serene decorating was matched with luxurious bedding, and comfortable temperatures thanks to individual, state-of-the-art air conditioners. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need: dishes, glassware, cooking equipment and even supplies in the pantry and refrigerator which we were welcome to use. There were also supplies in the bathroom to finish our welcome to the house.We daytripped to Great Barrington, Hudson and Bash Bish Falls for a hike. We had a lovely lunch at The Copake Golf Club. I don't think the owners had anything to do with the gorgeous weather, but with their lovely hospitality, you might think they had!

Perfect family getaway in a lovely home

From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we knew we had chosen the right place for our getaway weekend. It was incredible to walk through the door and immediately spot the gorgeous lake view.The kids couldn't wait to explore the house and choose their rooms. It felt like we kept uncovering unique surprises around every corner. Our hosts thought of everything and supplied so many thoughtful touches, from an inviting welcome basket to travel size toiletries in the bathroom cabinets.They were so responsive to any questions or requests and seemed to genuinely care about us enjoying our stay. We all truly loved the house, the lake, and exploring the town. There are too many great things to list, from the lovely sun room to the cozy fire pit to the perfectly placed Adirondack chairs overlooking the dock. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need, and the living room was so peaceful and comfortable. My daughter was particularly thrilled with the jetted tub in the upstairs bathroom, and the ping pong table was a big hit with my son. There were so many great spots for reading, and the beds were beyond comfy! "Little slice of paradise" is an apt description, and we would absolutely love to return someday!

A Masterclass in Hospitality & Design!

My husband (28M), sister (24F), brother-in-law (25M), and I stayed at this beautiful property for 2 nights for an October Leaf Peeping getaway from Boston and NYC. We all wished we had been able to stay longer! The large driveway offers ample parking and has a covered garage space. The house is stylishly designed with a high-end Scandinavian feel. The living (seats 4-5) and dining rooms (seats 6) are spacious, and the screened-in patio with plush furniture offers stunning 360-degree nature views. We stayed in the Master Suite on the ground floor, which had a lovely pond view. The king-sized bed was comfortable with soft linens, even for Tempurpedic snobs like us! The ensuite bathroom had a steam room (unadvertised) and a tub/shower. The hosts provided thoughtful touches like toiletries, hair ties, makeup wipes, and female hygiene products. Upstairs, there were two bedrooms, one with a full bed and another with two double beds, both with amazing views. My sister and BIL had no complaints. The bathroom featured a large spa tub and shower. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of essentials for cooking: spices, oils, pans, pots, etc. Our hosts surprised us with a welcome basket with wine, cheese, crackers, and a fridge full of beers—perfect after a long drive! The outdoor amenities were THE highlight: we loved making s’mores by the fire pit, kayaking, and snapping photos on the private dock. There’s board games, a ping pong table and squat rack in the basement!
