Great place!

This place was great for my group of 11. It is fully stocked with all of the things you may need on your trip. We only stayed for a weekend, but would have loved to stay longer to take advantage of the patio, kitchen, etc.

we stayed at this place with our friends 8 people, house was very nice clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and it’s also not far from downtown. Uber taxi 15 to city center. We didn’t even use the bus.

Lovely stay in DC

We had a great time at this property! It was clean, comfortable, and within walking distance of many good restaurants. The kitchen was well-equipped and even had a few spices, coffee, etc. for use. Bonus: LOTS of bathrooms (4.5), so we never had to fight over them. Check in and check out were easy.— I definitely didn’t feel that we were asked to do too much. The hosts were responsive and kind. I’d highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Lovely spot

Lovely house for our large group. We did basic cooking and appreciated the proximity to Columbia Heights restaurants, bars etc. No bedroom had two beds so that was an error in description. But 5 bedrooms all usable and comfortable.

The host was approachable and informative. Home was just as listed. Plenty of room for 7 adult sized humans. The neighborhood itself is nice as was the home. The neighborhood is well kept row houses. A decent walk to the metro station about a half mile. Bus stop is much closer. There is a corner store a quarter of a mile from the houses which you have to walk by to get to the metro which clear has some drug use happening outside of it. We never felt unsafe. The one issue we had is the common area did not have a enough couch space for all seven of us. So it was a struggle to have a "gathering area" Plenty of seating for meals.

Comfortable DC Home

Check in was a tiny bit confusing because this address has an A unit and a B unit and they both have digital code locks on the door, but the unit is the A unit up the stairs to the front door.The home has plenty of room and plenty of bathrooms for a medium sized group, and was clean and well-stocked with dishes and glasses.The host was very attentive making sure everything was going alright.The property is a little bit of a walk from the nearest metro station but not a difficult walk, and we appreciated the exercise.Overall lovely experience, would stay at this home again if I were to find myself in DC.

Place was nice and clean except one of the upstairs bathrooms swelled of urine. The coffee was stale and the choices were terrible. Thanks for the ice though. The towels were adequate but not enough wash rags. Beds were comfortable but my brother needed a flatter pillow.also, it would be nice to have a full length mirror somewhere in the house

1st - this house does not sleep 12 the way it was set up. There are 3 bedrooms with full/queen beds in, and 2 bedrooms with twin size bunkbeds in. The futon in the living room is small and definitely doesn't fit 2 people.2nd- the Living room is very small and doesn't accommodate a group. It has a futon that is very uncomfortable, you feel a bar across that you sit on while sitting, also very dirty, between the cushions with pet hair and dirt. Very gross.3rd - There are a number of light bulbs that were burned out.4th- MICE - when we arrived home our last night there, we were going to have some chips but mice had beat us to them. And mice poo on countertop. Then we went to pull trash bag out of trash container and all mice holes in there, some of the trash fell out thru the holes. It was so gross.5th- there are 4 coffee pots there,only one worked. It was 1 of the 3 keurigs, and it wasn't stated in instructions so we had coffee grounds and filters with us,no kcups,had to go buy kcups.6th - It was not clean, the top of refrigerator had a layer of dust on it. Some of the dishes had dust in them, we felt like we had to clean everything before we used it in the kitchen.7th - downstairs bathroom had no hand towel or linens. The kitchen had no dishcloth to wipe things with.8th - No trash cans in most of bathrooms. And bathrooms that had trashcan, had no liner. No extra trash bags.Manager wanted pictures but we didn't have time while there to send pics while at events

The images provided reflected only very limited, isolated areas and did not represent the overall condition of the home. Our property manager’s post-stay inspection noted that a significant amount of uncovered food and kitchen mess was left behind, which can naturally attract pests. Even so, we immediately arranged for professional pest control as a precaution, and the home has since been fully treated and secured with preventive measures in place. The property is professionally cleaned before every stay, and all essentials including linens, towels, kitchen supplies, and household items are routinely checked and restocked. We also conduct regular maintenance inspections to ensure everything is in proper working condition. We remain fully committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and reliable stay, and we’re always responsive if anything comes up during a guest’s visit.

We enjoyed the stay and the amenities were all very nice and clean. Neighborhood quiet, busy lots of traffic on street.
We went in February and snow and ice were at curbs. This made it difficult to maneuver wheelchair and access to my car. Other than that the stay was great.

The guest’s issue was related only to parking. Our listing clearly states there is no private parking, and we provided full details along with nearby garage options. The guest received tickets for parking in a restricted zone, which was beyond our control. Even then, we reimbursed $60 for the tickets as a gesture of goodwill. No other issues were reported during the stay.
