We had a very nice stay at this cozy home. It was perfect for the 2 of us for a few days whole we fished on Lake Hartwell. Everything was just as it was described and all was comfortable.

Debbie’s home was very cozy especially with a real fire. She answered immediately when I text her and was very sweet and kind. The home was very clean and had lots of kitchen appliances and utensils. We loved it there and will definitely stay again. Thank you Debbie ;)

Nice place. Perfect for two people. Very clean. Loved the fireplace. Dock access is farther than I expected. Summer time would be tough trekking coolers, chairs and fishing gear back and forth, but was perfect for New Year’s.

The kitchen was fully equiped with a full size refigerator, knives wee a little dull but usable. Easy access to walk to the lake and nice large dock. Very quite this time of year, water was a little cold but that didn't stop us from enjoying the lake!

Cozy cabin for Christmas!

This property was perfect for staying near family during Christmas break. It was super cozy, beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need! Only 7 min from downtown Hartwell. Would love to stay here again!

We were in town for a game at Clemson & wanted a retreat for a weekend getaway and this place was perfect! The home was on the lake and very cozy. I loved the pieces the owners have in there-it’s interesting to see unique pieces of art & antique pieces. I would definitely recommend this gem! In the summer we hope to go back & rent a boat Owners answered all questions timely & left a book with restaurants & things to do. Price was super reasonable. Thank you for a little piece of Heaven

Stating that there was a $100 pet fee without adding addition information is not a fair review of the situation. Joe's fee was IMMEDIATELY refunded once he informed me they did not bring a pet. My cleaning crew reached out to me to let me know about the excessive amount of hair found in the beds, on the furniture and floors, so after conferring with VRBO, it was decided to charge a pet fee. However, as soon as we heard back from Joe that he didn't bring a pet, and without photo evidence either way, his $100 was immediately refunded...along with an apology. We learned several things from this: Outside security cameras must be working at all times and our cleaning crew must take pictures of any concerns they have/see to support any issues. Again, Joe, our apologies for this misunderstanding and thank you for helping us learn how to better work with situations that arise on our property, either with our renters or those who care for our lake house.
