Join us in celebrating 25 years at BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch! Our pet-friendly accommodations have been that way since our founding and our dedication to caring for animals has carried on throughout the years and influenced everything we do. Not just 25 years of BlissWood, but 25 years of rescuing and rehabilitating animals on the ranch. We hope you will join us for this special occasion and get the chance to see some of the beautiful wildlife that we have on-property.
In 2010 Carol, the owner and innkeeper, began fostering Border Collies, a contribution that has now become a dedicated passion with over 300 foster dogs passing through the Ranch on the way to their forever homes. Some of our adorable Border Collies stayed with us and live full lives on the ranch with tons of room to play and run around.
You can also make a donation if you wish to support the Border Collie rescue directly.

"Though our Border Collies are truly delightful company, we also have a large variety of other animals at our Texas dude ranch for our guests to meet! The Exotic Animal Safari is a 45-minute guided expedition through our exotic pasture and is a great way to catch a glimpse of Red Deer, Blackbuck Antelope, and more! You can also visit Carol's special horse "John John" that has been with her for 25 years! Now enjoying a peaceful retirement, he loves to meet new people and would love it if you came by and said hello! Another great way to get up close and personal with the wildlife is with a morning ranch feeding tour as a part of our Texas Kids Fun Package. Give the animals a nice breakfast and interact with a wide variety of unique creatures from all across the globe!

We always encourage our guests to not only enjoy the animals here at the ranch but to also bring along their own faithful companion! To this end, we also offer pet-friendly weddings so that your pet can accompany you on such an important occasion! There are lots of things to do with your dog here at BlissWood - go on a walk and explore the property, play fetch in wide-open spaces, and much more! You can enjoy so much of what BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch has to offer with your dog in tow, and we hope that you will enjoy your time here with the rest of our unique activities.
