Welcome to Dad’s Garage, a cozy two-bedroom Ironwood retreat with a private sauna, electric fireplace, and plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring the western U.P.

With comfortable accommodations for up to four adults, the home features a Cal King bed, a cozy Queen bed, and a LoveSac sofa with double chaise loungers in the living room. Warm up by the fireplace, unwind in the sauna, or settle in for a quiet night after hiking waterfalls, biking local trails, skiing, or exploring downtown Ironwood.

The fully equipped eat-in kitchen includes quartz countertops, a gas range, Keurig and standard coffeemakers, microwave, dishwasher, and everything you need to prepare meals at home. You'll also have Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heat, and a full-size washer and dryer.

The bathroom is stocked with towels, soap, a hair dryer, and a bidet for added convenience.

Dad's Garage is a great place to stay in the Ironwood area. The place was clean and well appointed. All the amenities you would ever need! The washer/dryer came in handy as we were in the middle of a long trip. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!

Dad’s garage was AMAZING! Everything we needed and more for a stay away from home. The electric fireplace was so comfy to create a peaceful ambiance. The spacious kitchen to cook/eat in. Quiet neighborhood. It was close to good places to eat and shop. We travel frequently and this is a new favorite that we will visit again. Even the little things (the hand soaps smelled wonderful) were perfect! Highly recommend!!

As soon as we walked in to Dad's Garage we felt at home. This place was very cozy, relaxing and equipped with everything you could need to make a great stay. It's so nicely decorated and very clean. Lori and Sam thought of everything. I felt comfortable right away. We were there for a week and enjoyed the waterfalls, nature and bike trails Lori told us about. I love that there was a full size washer/dryer for guests to use. It's amazing how much laundry one can accumulate when traveling. Overall we had a wonderful stay... wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for your amazing and welcoming space and your genuine hospitality.

We’re Lori and Sam, and Ironwood has become our happy place. We love road trips, good food, the outdoors, and finding places that feel comfortable, welcoming, and a little special. We’re hands-on hosts and have put a lot of thought into the little details that make a stay easier and more comfortable. We also love sharing our favorite local restaurants, waterfalls, trails, and places to explore. Our goal is simple: we want you to settle in, relax, and feel at home while you’re here.

We fell in love with this part of Ironwood because it feels close to everything while still being peaceful and residential. Downtown restaurants, coffee shops, trails, waterfalls, and outdoor adventures are all within easy reach.

While house hunting, we started referring to this property as “Dad’s Garage.” Sam owned a body shop for 20 years, and the garage - with it's paint booth walls that roll down, oil change bay, and familiar shop feel immediately reminded us of his world. The nickname stuck, and eventually became the name of the house.

Dad’s Garage stands out because it feels more like a thoughtfully designed home than a typical vacation rental. Guests love the private sauna, California King bed, fireplace, full-size washer and dryer, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable LoveSac seating. We’ve also paid close attention to the little details, from quality soaps and linens to local recommendations that help guests experience Ironwood beyond the usual tourist stops. Most of all, the home is exceptionally clean, welcoming, and designed to be a place where guests can truly settle in and relax.
